Anonymous credit card vs prepaid debit card

Some providers require you to send deposit before getting together. Instead of using your own personal credit cards, I am wondering about using anonymous credit card service or prepaid debit card. Has anyone used Abine Blur service or any other anonymous credit card service?

Although I hate the excessive fees, I've usually just used pre-paid credit cards, typically "Vanilla" brand, buying them with cash at places like 7-11. I will never use my personal cards for a variety of reasons. I'm still looking for a better solution, too.

This is interesting indeed! Great way to stay discreet! Go to gas stations that sell prepaid credit cards that you can use for pooning lol! How would a SO ever find out unless she checks your gas receipts.
Can be used at places that take CC’s anyways. I’ve always used cash myself but even that has it’s risks!

I have heard that Canada Post has one of the best deals out there for a prepaid Visa credit card. $15 one time up front payment and $3/month fee and $3 for each refill. You can use it with zenwallet.ca app for doing refills, Interact eTransfers, etc. Card is both chip and pin protected. If you lost the card you would still be able to retrieve $$$ still on the card/account.

Given how much I would use it, that seems like excessive fees to me. But, I'm pretty broke and it shows in how frequently I'd be able to use the card!
