Maybe Im in the wrong forum for this but here it goes. So I was out doing some night cruising like errans, my dam BRAT!! My Links "ferret", lmao, I left him running around my incall place cause I knew he wouldnt get me into trouble. I thought :eek: well I was wrong there!! Omg he crossed some wires and my music blared up at 1130pm. Lmao so of course the landlord calls me and hears Im in a quiet place, they said whos in your suite, Im like no one. They go BULLSHIT, Im like just 2 small pets go look for yourself, they go your music is blaring loud. I was going to call the police on you but we didnt so get home and turn it off and they hanged up on me. Im like wtf and I started to laugh, so I was home within 10mins. The landlord started giving me shit infront of a friend and my friend goes they have no need to be swearing at you and they are in the wrongs. They go this is your 2 warning, Im like what was my 1st cause you didnt inform me and they went quiet. They started to yell as I walked into the suite to turn it off. I came back out to leave again, I said dont yell at me and besides Im giving you guys a month notice cause Im moving out by Sept/2006. Even when I was walking out the apartment they were still yelling, that got my friend going, dam!! I have decided that for a long time and now I cant wait. There is always DRAMA within this apartment and this was my first time to rent an apartment. :rolleyes: I have been here for an year for incall so time to relocate in vancouver with a roommate but sad thing to tell you all NO MORE INCALL FOR ANNA!!! :eek: heehee :eek:
So only this month and August Im taking incalls. Sometime today im going to go in the advertising forum to broadcast my new prices for incall.

That's hilarious Anna!

I have rented a lot of places in van and the landlords have always been very nice as long as the rent is paid on time. Guess I was lucky.

Just a suggestion: make sure you have something in writing that the landlord acknowledges you are leaving in Sept or they may try to screw you when you leave. :mad:

The cute ones are always more trouble, aren't they!

Change that to read, "...they WILL try to screw you when you leave."

When I moved in here, I had to get good reference and had no problem with that!! They made me pay 3 months of rent up first, which I worked my (_*_) off hard!! I was happy in the end :D and I've always paid my rent on time for 1 full year. So when I pay for August rent Im going to write my month notice and save a copy of it plus have a friend to witness me. If they try to screw me over in the end, I know is that KARMA will get them good!! Guaranteed!! :D :D

Anna, you are better off moving to a new apartment and hopefully you have a landlord that appreciates you. I know that there a very few of those type of landlords around these days. Most of the landlords worry about is getting your rent on time but not properly maintaining the building.
Just cover your ass so the landlord cannot screw you.
If you need some help, I can always call me godfather to send the limo over with a few guys who carry violin cases to play them/your landlord a few tunes. I am only joking:D :D :D

Anna was any of those 3 months actually a deposit of any sort? if so give your notice and live the last month off you security deposit and save from now til then for your new place when ya move. That is legal to live last month of your security deposit as rent. I have done it in the past.

No just 3 months of rent paid up first, when I moved in I had already paid half the rent and paid 2640. From Dec/2005 till now I could just pay monthly. They problem didnt think that I could afford my apartment on a monthly bases, judge me wrong!! Again their KARMA not mine!!

You should send the last month rent along with the cheque by registered mail so that you have a receipt of when it was sent.

If your landlord is managing the whole building then they may have actual forms for you to fill out, just ask. If not then get them to sign and date your notice and keep a copy for yourself. If you want more info these are good resources:
