Tried to setup an outcall with Angela. She was very accommodating in offering to do an outcall an hours drive from her location. Agreed on a time to catch up and that’s when it started to go down hill. She asked for a $100 deposit. That always makes me nervous. I paid the deposit considering she had a fairly long drive to get to me then just as she was due to leave she said she required a $200 safety deposit. I had been down this road before and refused to pay and cancelled the meeting.

The next morning I get a threatening message from her boss Saying I have to pay for Angela’s time waisted.

I thought it would be worth letting you all know. There seems to be a lot of scammers about. Apart from this incident I have had a great holiday in Canada. I am now heading back to Sydney.

This scam is becoming more and more common. If anyone is threatened for "wasting the SP's time" don't be worried, you are safe and she was never, ever going to show up regardless of how much deposit you send. The threatening text is the actual business these people are in. Hopefully, you used a burner or a text app. If you aren't, you may want to start. These guys actually call and threaten you live on the phone and they keep calling. They will call from quite a few different numbers and they don't give up easily. If you are using a text app, burn the number and carry on. I've had these guys send me graphic pics of victims of torture claiming they know who I am and if I don't pay they are coming to collect. It is all bullshit. They are in some third world country making dozens or hundreds of these calls per day. I'm guessing some of the young guys might feel threatened and actually pay.
Ladies, like it or not, all of the men are being forced to use text apps due to scams like this on top of the deposit required scams.

I thought text apps work thru wifi and not thru cell service ? So it then it would be impossible to communicate once you reach the provider address

Thanks Blueman2. I used a text app so hopefully it will be ok. I have also left the accommodation I was in as my holiday has come to an end. Back to Sydney tonight. I was hoping to have a bit more fun on my last night in Canada. Never mind it is all a learning experience. I hope this thread helps someone

TextNow works on wifi and cell data. If you enable the feature, you can make or receive calls. Some SP's will ask you to call when you arrive before they give you the room number. TextNow will work for this.
