Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
In the 80's I spent a lot of time in Russia and eastern bloc countries (USSR).
We would have interpreters and drivers assigned to us. The drivers were all nuts. We would joke about how they were all wanna-be rally drivers.
And they honk their horns continuously. Sometimes out of anger like here but just as often it was a method of communication between drivers.
It got to the point where sometimes if where we were going was not too far we'd make up an excuse to walk.
That said. aside from all the white knuckle car trips and close calls we were never in one car accident.

similar experience ^^ in mainland china except one of our drivers cut off a guy on one of those bicycle rickshaws causing the bicycle to t-bone the car. nobody was hurt but the police arrested the car driver and took him away in handcuffs!!

i suspect that's why you don't see many accidents, lol
