An Open Letter To Pooners Everywhere

Good day All,

I have tried to do my best over the last decade to not notice the decline in service and incline in rates in our SP options in our hobby. Personally, I feel it is time to remind the providers that the $$$ they covet comes from all of us, their clients. I personally believe that we have, for too long, accepted a market driven price for a certain level of service without getting actual value for that service. It is time to establish what the service provided by quality providers is worth to us. There is no blanket, no set rate. But there should be guidelines.

I would encourage all who surf this site to take a moment and reflect on what they are looking for in a booking. What matters to them. Booking a meet and paying for something you regret is ridiculous, when you get right down to it. Be up front, request what you want and treat this like any other business you would enter into: do your homework, enjoy yourself, and hopefully get what you want in the end.

I fully believe it is time for a little 'push back' on the industry. I don't want to read another review of how that girl from BP lied. Don't book her. Don't shop there. Don't let her be the Walmart.

If you agree I applaud you, if not, good luck. Fuck who you want, pay them well if you do. Do it smart and you will do it right.

It may be apples/oranges since I am "strictly" into the kink scene, but there is something to be said for being spontaneous and not completely mapping out a session. The variables and unknowns are what makes it so exciting. Enjoy the moment and the excitement and anticipation of what may or may not be next. It's not a cookie-cutter hobby.
As for the prices, I totally concur with PeaceGuy ... it has been done to death. This is in no way comparable to any other 'business'.

I am glad to hear a man make a statement that is so close to ,my own thoughts. I too wish more people would come to me with an open mind, willing to explore whatever happens, as opposed to having something "mapped out". e.g. First this, second that, third this....oh five minutes left we better do this....."

It's often "to each their own" and YMMV....I've been with SP's that get rave reviews from others, that I had very disappointing experiences with.....if you are 25 years old, you may be disappointed with your experience with a 45 yr old SP, on the other hand, if you are 70, that experience will be something totally different. As you get older and more experienced, your tolerance for poor quality becomes lower. If the SP is only seeing clients once, with no repeats, that sends it's own message, however, depending on their level of desperation, it's entirely within their rights to prey on first timers and the inexperienced. Restaurants, car dealers, phone companies and everyone else in marketing does it to a certain degree. There is no "Code of Ethics" for SP's is there? And having one for a profession makes no difference anyways.....ie bad lawyers, doctors, accountants that commit fraud etc......financial advisors etc....

Agreed. It's becoming a little too common with mostly Asian SPs (but not limited to them alone) where a high turnover is common. It's get in and GTF out. The attitude can be from Mama and Brosan such where they will give you what they want and what's available despite who you may booked.

Additionally, the trend is becoming to accept this behavior by visiting the outfit again or rewarding the SP (by frivolously tipping) because they may actually provide service that one normally expects. This too further raises the prices and others may soon start charging because of this trend. Pricing is relative and subjective. What some people may think is overpriced, there will always be some who feel it's not.

It's usually the indie's who are the one's who "tend" to be more client oriented but of course, charge a lot more. As always, there are exceptions and when you find one, you tend to stick with her.

Remember, it's the client or customer who drives the market, any market. Word of mouth is important, that's why we have forums where you can share your good and bad experiences. Hopefully, you won't be one of those of reviewers who tend to wear rose colored glasses and glorify their experiences to make themselves look shiny in the eyes of others.

I think quality is not cheap. And as the experiences count, so they have the right to charge what they feel fair. We are no one to say they should charge this or less or more. We have a choice as does an sp as long as it is fair.

I do think there is something for everyone, although if you want a good quality experience with someone who cares and enjoys their profession, it is always good to #1 do your homework #2 stick with well-known and well reviewed providers or get a referral from another pooner. That is one reason why I enjoyed the Dommes gone wild and other sp parties, it's a good way to meet local providers and see where the chemistry lies without the commitment. It is not always about making/spending money, it's about making a meaningful connection either sexually, mentally or emotionally or all of the above, whatever your needs are, the sp who can offer you that sanctuary to feel safe in an intimate arena is very valuable.



Of course if you are looking for a quickie or only a physical connection with no time for small talk, foreplay etc, there are ladies who are high-volume providers who offer shorter visits for less expensive rates. As an sp, I have a base rate for a gfe or tantra session, and it goes up if it turns into a pse or domination session or for extra time… obviously a lighthearted gfe/tantra/massage session is less intense than a pse/Domination session can be, so I price them out according to the industry standard for my location, in vs. outcall etc...

Some girls are champs, some girls really show the wear and tear. But nothing will turn off a woman more who is already fucking you against every sense she has just for the money than for you to start complaining about "quality control".

This I am not so sure about and seems to be playing to some stereotypes. Yes, absolutely there are many ladies doing this because they don't have other options to make the kind of money they can in this business. But, it is also my impression that there are a reasonable portion who are doing this because they made a conscious decision to do it because they enjoy it and it gives them a freedom that other avenues of employment doesn't. Doing a job you love and getting paid well for it is a dream for many. For some of the ladies on this board, this is more than just about the money. They are giving of themselves in a very special way and are doing this because this is where they feel they should be.... And those are the ladies I would prefer to spend my time and money with.

Though I agree, complaining about "quality control" shouldn't be coming into it.

Would love to have some ladies either confirm or rebut my suggestion.

I have visited SP's who charged me $300 for PSE and others who have charged me $160 for GFE and I must say that I have been disappointed on many occasions by each. It is a little easier to be disappointed with the $160 per hour SP than to be disappointed by the $300 per hour so called High Class Escort who made me feel like all she cared about was the money. So now I avoid the plus $240 ladies because it is a free world and I can choose to do so. We all have choices to make but one thing I realize is that one or two guys boycotting the higher priced ladies isn't going to make a bit of a difference what so ever. I say too each their own.
