Like most of you probably do, I get an occasional PM here at perb.
Usually it's a question about more details, or saying thanks.

This latest PM though struck me as odd.

And NO I will not say from whom it came.
But it said that he read about my bad service by an SP.
So I should call her up and mention my perb handle.
If I do she will give me a discount to try her again.
Shall I assume then this is her handler or...?

I don't mind if you share where it came from, I read the original review from what I (and perbmod, as he was banned shortly after),thought came from someone who clearly had an agenda to hurt her business, I believe you did not receive the best that she had to offer for whatever reason, I mentioned to her that it may be a good idea to reach out and try and make things right (I have seen her many times and she has always been top notch), she mentioned that she did not know who you were (Perb handle), I took it on my own to reach out to you and "put the ball in your court", for a so called "make up" date, one time a few yrs ago I had an early morning date when she first started and she "no showed", she emailed me later told me she didn't wake up and would give me a free session, I didn't take her up on it but have seen her many times since....

Sounds like you should contact her

Adria Allgood has been reviewed many times on perb and 99% of the time they are good, my point was to help her to make up for a bad review, and help "kamloopsbc" to see how much fun she can be (with a discounted make up rate)...

Sounds to me like you should graciously accept the offer. Too often we jump to conclusions, and label someone a flake, when in fact if you research them and see mostly good reviews, there may very well be a good reason as to why it happened. Lets face it, life happens, shit happens to all of us. Unfortunately you were on the wrong end of it. Usually all it takes is for one of the parties to take the high road and take the first step. Someone who is apparently "in the know" is trying to help you. Go for it!!

I don't like holding a "handle" over a girl's head.

There is an implied threat surely, good/discounted service or else.

That has nothing to do with it.
I asked him to mention his Perb handle when he contacted her, she was expecting someone mentioning the handle to be in touch.

I think you were trying to turn the situation around for the sake of being helpful. Ideally, it would have worked out, the provider would correct the lacking first impression and the client would have a great time at a discount to make up for whatever wasn't up to par last time. You used what you knew of him from the board to identify him to her, and the only way you could reach out to him was via perb pm. I think it is just that understandably the potential risk of communicating somewhat anonymously here makes people much more defensive and/or suspicious of others in the forum and their motives in contacting us

Exactly my point, if he had looked at my posting history or sent me back a pm, this would of stayed out of the public eye, and best case he would of had a good time and posted an updated review (I in no way wanted him to delete his current review, everyone has a bad day)

Please do not be offended. PMs could not resolve his doubts. If you PM somebody "are you her handler?", it is hard to be certain the answer will be genuine.
As Alix said, a degree of anonymity remains that makes people cautious when contacted by a stranger. Even if you have a solid posting history, cannot expect every member to spend their time researching it.
Luckily, trust gets created with more communication, or at least following somebody's posts for a while. In your case, seeing similar experiences with same girls puts you in the trusted category even if we didn't talk directly.

To OP - as said, do not assume it's her handler. WS is definitely not.
Getting a PM like that is not a unique situation. Some people are just trying to help. I remember a very similar thread a year ago, when a known member got a booking advice from somebody he didn't know well. Not knowing who the helper was, I said "A random guy on the internet is not necessarily a trusted source." As it happened, the advice was from a well-respected member who took offense at my comment - hey I couldn't know, could I ))

Enough of this. There will be NO use of PERB reviews to extract free or discounted sessions from a lady. Anyone trying to force a lady to do so, handler, or reviewer will be immediately and permanently banned. Extortionists are not welcome here.
