Does anyone have any experience (level of service, rates) for Ambrosia Intl? It's the Massage Parlour in downtown Calgary near Chinatown.

I hate to revive old threads, but......

I was in this fair town last week or so and decided to look around for some fun. I contacted this one by text and got a reply regarding prices, and location. Nothing, of course was said about any possible extras. She very soon called me on my cell and tried to get me to come in immediately that evening.

I decided to visit the next day, at lunch. When I got there, I found Ambrosia International, and was intrigued. I waited a bit in the entrance and was disappointed by the lack of discretion; there was another customer who was moved to another room while I waited. This was not very good IMHO.

When I tried to ask about services, the girl wanted to rush me into a room without asking me for how long I wanted to stay. I told her that I did not have much time, as it was lunch, and I asked her if i could ask her in private on rates, to confirm the information that she had sent to me. She would have none of that. Instead, she quoted me a price for something that would go far beyond MP limits and with her fully clothed, for $140, likely above the door fee. What the hell is going on, I asked myself. Anyway, she asked me how much money I had on me. Naturally, I did not tell her that I had just used the bank machine nearby and was serious about my inquiry. Anyway, she told me to get out and goodbye. She just walked away.

The kind of attitude she showed me was uncalled for, at least where I usually hobby, out east, in Ontario. I have been to many places outside of where live, and outside of province. However, I have never encountered a rude and money-hungry individual as I encountered, here. When I am next time in this neck of the woods, this is a place and provider that I will avoid at all costs.

I was just there a moment ago, sure I read your warning but I decided to find out on my own, BIG MISTAKE, I was in for a half hour massage for $50 bucks 10 minutes into the massage the girl flips me over and asks what extra I want, she quickly jumps to offer the nude for 120 on top of the massage, I said I only want hand job instead, she started to look upset, she said $60 for a hand job and seriously I probably would have giving her that, however I truly only had 50 left in my pocket, all I wanted it was a decent hand job, so when I told her that she rolled her eyes to me and became very upset; I tried to complaint to the manager and she was of no understanding or accord. I know they are in it for the money, but for crying out loud someone e teach this people what customer service is all about. Also, before I showed up she asked me if I was Indian? I'm not, but I can only imagine how I would feel if I was. AVOID THIS PLACE like a plague, overly expensive, rude wner and employees, and over all mediocre service...now you have been warned twice.

I was walking around downtown doing some shopping and then was down at Chinatown looking for a place to eat. That is when I spotted the A - sign out front of the building for a massage. Decided to check it out by calling the number. Turns out a 30's lady came down and opened the door. Came up with her to the shop and ask how long I like to stay. I wanted a good massage so I ask for a 1 hour massage. She gave me a good massage and told me that she recently just taken over the shop (beginning of the month)....(don't know if it is related to earlier posts about bad service). All in all she gave a good massage and flipped about 3/4 of the way in. Ask for a bj, she said usually it is $100 but she gave me a special for $80 (to boost business i guess). It was all in all, great service and I would definitely come back again.

Visited Ambrosia again the other day and found that the owner was on "hiatus" or vacation and she hired a very nice asian lady in her absence. The lady has probably size 34 D's which are quite large for an asian women. I went in for an hour massage and she gave me a better massage then the owner did. I found out apparently she is from Vancouver (will need to visit soon to see if the MP's there offer just as good massages). Anyways, ask for a bj and was surprised at the great service I received. Still coming.

I moved to Edmonton for work now and recently had to come back to Calgary for a meeting in downtown. Since my office is near Chinatown, I went there for lunch. As I was walking around Chinatown, noticed a sign for Ambrosia, which I fondly remember from my trips there last year. After work, I decided to check the place out. It was not the owner that was there this time (from last year), but a different girl. She was in her late 30's, but had a pretty big bust (I am into nice bust). She took me into the message room and I asked for a 1 hour message. Message was amazing as she was able to work out the knots in my back (I guess made up for other things). On the flip ask what I wanted, I said a bj. She wanted $140, but I was able to talk it down to $100 as per recession rate. Even though it was a talk down, it was still good service and I will come back again. Just before I left I remember she told me her name was Cindy.
