Am I paranoid? What's the deal with Melanie?

Hello people,

I am absolutely dubious about any SP who insists on email transfers. It screams scam, obviously. I continue to see this woman posting on BP, Melanie (7786508723), who says that she requires half the donation sent via etransfer. Normally, i would assume a scammer would do their thing then bugger off, but here this ad keeps popping up every week or so. Is this legitimate and am I being too old fashioned, or this a persistent parasite?

I remember when I was greener at this, one girl only wanted payment in vanilla visa credit cards. Ok, I guess I can buy those, but after I have them in hand she wants the 16 digits, expiration and 3digit code on back... huhuhu, fortunately the bigger head started thinking instead of little head;)

Don't even consider doing it.
Really do you even need to ask if its a scam?
Yes of course it is!
Forget a sucker born every minute.
I am sure its closer to 500 suckers are born every minute.
The only place you should ever make a deposit is at the blood donor clinic.
Tell the rest to go play on a busy highway.
