Almost great bands

I love bands that almost hit it big...enough people know them that you have something to share...

I will admit up front that I find few things sexier than the rock-band-fronted-by-the-waif...

Wouldn't hurt your "music cred" any if I told you I dont listen to rock (hardly at all) and even I've heard of Mazzy Star and Crash Vegas.

Sorry I'm sure you meant well, just music + cred is one of those fingers on a chalkboard deals with me (I swear I deleted a written post 3 times trying not to react).

Lol it required I go listen to a good chill song, so I'll just share that instead.

Cant say how almost famous as I dont know alot of people that listen to acid jazz frequently enough who go looking for albums other than compilations

or something upbeat, cause, well now I'm in the mood.

Maybe even change the thread to "let you in on a little secret" Or just plain old "good music you may not know" (obviously with genre included in writting so nobody has to listen to types of music they dont want)

I'd give a shout out to one of my all-time past faves DC TALK. They were a religious band/group and they were very close to crossing mainstream. Unfortunately they didn't really get along in the end and they just couldn't make the jump.
