Well, not quite. Turns out we are mostly space and energy ... very little actual mass. So little mass, in fact, that if you remove all the space, our entire body would fit into a space the size of a speck of dust -- everyone on Earth would fit into a space the size of a sugar cube (about one centimetre cubed).

It is actually more complicated than that, but OK.

Hence the video ...
The video is misleading in many ways.
Is there truly empty space within an atom?
Empty space would imply that the space is available for something else to occupy.
Being as nothing else can occupy the space, then it really is not empty. It is only empty in simplicity.

In order for an atom to relinquish this said space, all energy would need to be removed from the atom.
Absolute 0K is theoretically impossible, so you would be entertaining what ifs, and reality does not exist in what ifs.

'Everything we call real is made up of things that cannot be regarded as real.'

So if an atom can be 'split' then something can occupy that space to split it, otherwise how would an atom be split? Isn't it a factor of apply more energy to the atom than the energy that holds the atom together? That energy comes from neutrons, so if they can enter the atom's 'space' then there must be room for the neutrons in the atom?

After we pass away and our name is spoken for the last time, we become less than a speck of dust, we become nothing, as if we never existed.

Well you live on in memories and monuments you built for yourself.... Ancient pharaohs, famous people, people with statues, your name on a street or building... etc.
