I personally have no problem paying $300. I don't see what the fuss is all about. I mean look, it's a visiting lady for Christ sake. She has to book flights & hotel, get food, and find local transportation (taxi/car rental). The reason they're charging high is simple economics: they want to profit. When they travel, there is no garauntee that they will turn a profit. Unfortunately, our city has been gaining the reputation of no-shows and cancellations (look at the whole Mr Jetz incident).

It also seems that some people here are your stereotypical 'bargain-minded-winnipeger'. You look at other places and complain that we're paying way too much. Really? This is Winnipeg for Christ sake! This is not Montreal, not Vancouver, not Toronto. The only reason people are paying less there is because they have an INFLUX of hot SPs. It's a simple numbers game. These traveling ladies are charging more because they know the Winnipeg supply has nothing on them. Booking a flight, hotel, & Sp in Montreal/Vancouver/Toronto will actually end up costing you more than $300 ... That in itself is a bargain.

As for YMMV, I think it's foolish to assume that you're going to get far with a lady just because she's an SP. Every SP that I've been with has gone beyond the suggested mileage with me. I'm not the best looking guy, the best dressed, or even the 'biggest' guy around ... But I am pretty charming, confident, and a gentlemen.
