Alert To Studio Owners

I have been asked by the owner of Shiatsu On 50th to post the following. I give her credit for doing so.

Last night at about 10:30 PM a man wearing a ski mask entered Shiatsu On 50th with a gun and demanded money. He proceeded to kick and hit the doors of the rooms. There were 3 ladies on shift, and some customers at the studio.

Shiatsu Staff were able to reach the emergency alarm and the gunmen turned and fled. The police arrived after. No good description of the criminal was available.

Please be prudent and take what measures you consider necessary.

A N.E. massage studio was robbed by two men with knives last week. A description of one of the criminals was provided.

There is also talk of possible problems like this going unreported at the micro-brothels operated in residential areas. Clients who choose to visit these micros should be more vigilant as these locations can be considered more vulnerable targets, and they could be victimized leaving or entering these unlicensed locations.

owners maybe a drop safe the ladies could use slide cash in envelope and seal it and place in safe to be reomved at the end of the night

As many of the ladies have stated on this board, the amount of money made is often less than people think for a lot of the ladies. Everything you mention costs & would come out of the ladies' bottom line every month. Versus the relatively low risk of an incident on any given day at a given business.

Nope, all that is needed is a good security system & procedures that slow the perps down without people having to actively trying to slow them.. Makes it take more time to physically get at the people and the ladies' earnings. Sturdy closed doors. Locked lockers in the staff room. A panic button in each room. Comply with the scumbag's demands, just make it so it cannot be done quickly. He'll see the people trying their best to comply, but he'll run out of time.

i can confirm that an asian micro was victimized in late june/early july and both their sps and clients were robbed.

the recession brings more crime and unfortunately, cash based businesses are always a target. stay safe everyone.
