AI generated models....and wondering if 'the hobby' is even worth it anymore?

Bad enough we all have a hellva time determining if an advertisement is legit or not. Now we have AI generated content that can literally invent people that haven't existed before. Now using 'reverse image searches' will be obsolete, since there's no point in a scammer ripping off photos from IG models, or rely on bad photoshop anymore; all content will be too original to tell the difference.

Once the AI software is perfected and more user-friendly for scammers to invent their 'honeypots' on the fly, it would be easy to get all the 'Amazon Gift Card' deposits off all the simps who fall for it.

This is an example:

"$1,000 for the hour, and you can be with all 4 of these ladies, but please pay a deposit of $100 in Amazon gift cards for each lady in order to confirm your appointment with them."

This industry is getting more complicated everyday.

I think the majority of us know that the pix in the adverts are a suggestion only and we should rely on what we find here on perb.

None of us know where this will land, but my sense is that there will still be a strong market for ladies who bring personality and imagination to live encounters. Those offering online services and Cam shows will have trouble competing with lower cost AI alternatives. Just speculating.

It just takes a bit of research and awareness of the sort of ads that are suspect and those that are legit. Couple that with well-reviewed agencies and independents along with the fine TOFTT work done by Perb users and AI concerns should be quelled.

Of course, Punt has a solution for all this AI crap. It’s branded as NotAI (pronounced Naughtay). Catchy, right? For a very reasonable fee, Punt or one of Punt’s agents (OoPa’s), will strut on over and confirm the physical reality of the advertiser. This service may involve FS, BJ’s, DFK, and DATY, but not Digits, cuz that’s just too close to digital. Once the physical manifestation and service capability of the advertizer is confirmed, the glorious block-chain certified designation of NotAI will be conferred upon the advertiser.

I could be wrong here but this is what I’m thinking. The natural progression….
More and more SW’s use AI to create ads.
I book a date and when I arrive at SW’s door I see that she is not the person in the original (AI) photo.
I leave. Waste of my time but more important SW makes $0
This continues to happen with more and more SW’s using AI and more and more clients walking away making this a dead industry.

OR,

In spite of fake AI ads, some SW’s continue to post believable ads and us customers continue to visit them and write them good reviews and those are the SW’s who stay in business.

I’m not super involved in this hobby but I probably visit an SW 5-6 times a year. So far I’ve never been asked for a deposit andI’ve never been scammed. If you’re leaving a deposit just make sure you know who you are leaving a deposit with.
