Agree or disagree with the actions of the first cop in this article?

Totally unacceptable. Even if he believes nothing would come of the report, the way he handled it was far from professional. I've had friends file reports and LE have told them there is a low possibility that a suspect would be found, but they never dissuaded them from filing because it's good to have the report on record for the possibility that it happens again or he goes further next time he finds himself alone with a working woman.

Not only that but if it makes her feel at ease even just a little to have a report filed who is he to tell her that it's wrong? Some people just want to know the actions have been noted and are on file, even if nothing will come of it. If the mans actions made her uneasy or fearful it's LE's duty to comfort her and make sure she doesn't worry about it happening again.

With that, yes there are some creeps in the line of work but for an officer to out-right state that she needs to get used to it is unprofessional. There are so many creeps because so many people have the mindset that workers need to just accept it as a part of the job. It's sad . . .

I hope she can find a good support group and feel comfortable in her line of work again.

everyone knows RMTs are off limits, that's why all the perberts on 411 are always trying to look for RMTs with happy endings so that they could get it on company dime - fact is, there are none dumb enough to do it

as for the cop, just like anyone lazy or terrible at their job - only difference is public safety is at risk

I agree with what you are saying.

One thing stuck out in the story was their legit massage, nails salon was in the neighbourhood with R&T HE places. Not saying it's right but lines get blurred when all the competition is doing it nearby.

I read the massage reviews here and lots of guys walk into a place to see if extra services are available and leave when none seem to be available. Always on the lookout for extras.

The Cop wasn't listening to her and should be dealt with through more training especially sensitivity. Clearly this wouldn't have happened if the first cop did his job.

The police officer should be investigated. Given his attitude, any interaction he has had with women on or off the job should be examined and it should be noted in his file that he cannot be trusted with some work activities. Imagine how he might behave if he was investigating something related to sex work or sex workers.
