Does anyone know how these are actually allowed to operate as aren't they sort of illegal businesses? I know the fox den in Vancouver has issues with police from time to time, is that the same for agencies here in town? Just curious about everyone's experience at them

Never been to an agency but from my understanding of the Canadian law, is that it’s only illegal to advertise like publicly. Such as very obvious sign/ windows showing what happens privately/ and like the “standing on a street corner” soliciting it. Advertising online and having a place of business for it is fine I believe. If you’re worried about the legality involving you, don’t worry it’s not like an American TV where when you hand the escort the money you will get arrested by undercovers. I think this place you mention was perhaps run by some not so good people and maybe were doing other things out of the building. Idk.
Yeah I'm not really sure, because according to the Criminal Code it's definitely illegal to purchase it only issue is what do they really do with these businesses like do they leave them alone while knowing they're sanctioning criminal activity? I guess it's kinda like strip clubs with extras and all that and those are left alone by poilce...

The only time the police get involved is if they think underaged girls & illegals are being trafficked . Last time I remember an agency being emptied out on the streets of Victoria was about 10 years ago & it was a sketchy Chinatown set up . Most reputable agencies on the island are female run & that goes a long way. I’d never work for a person who hasn’t walked a mile in a sex workers shoes . As long as the girls have their licences up to date all’s good . 👍🏻

The way I heard that explained about agencies & the law, it's a grey area of the law. What clients are doing at agencies are buying time, not sex. What a client & escort do behind closed doors is their business. That was explained to me by a Madam. So, the police leave the agencies alone. About the only times the police get involved is what Fiona said & if there are complaints from neighbours if the agency is in a residental area.

I'm pretty sure the cops have better things to do. As long as you go to a reputable provider. AND you are a gentleman. You got no worries. You are two consenting adults. Any money exchanged is for their time.
