Advice on SP friendly hotels in the downtown area?

Hello,

I will be headed to Vancouver for the first time and I was looking for some advice on SP friendly nicer hotels in the downtown area?

I typically like the more boutique style hotels and the Opus or the l'Hermitage seem interesting. Does anyone have any thoughts on these or hotel hotels in that style?

Is the elevator card-access really as big an issue as some foe threads make it out to be?

Both hotels you mentioned charge enough that one would think what the customer does is his/her business and chances are that they won't bother you. Le Soliel downtown is also a boutique style hotel and several travelling SP's I know have stayed there with no problems.

If you are an SP, access-cards can be a huge issue.
