Hello, I'm not sure if this is allowed, but are perb and Tryst the two advertising platforms for Vancouver and area? Do people in BC use leolist?

Thank you! I did notice a lot of the rates on LL are pretty low (150hr-250hr) compared to other places like Tryst, is that a fair assessment would you say? I am on Tryst, but I need to update my profile.
Yes, I think that the average rate on LL tends to be around that range with some at 300-400, but not many above 400. It's dominated by MPs and agencies which are mostly 240-340 these days for the ads that aren't fake. The cost of LL adds up because bumps are off the first page within 1-2h or less sometimes. I've been told that some SPs bump only once in a while and that works for them, but I prefer having my ad visible and accessible the way it is on Tryst and Perb.
Tryst is all indies only so it is more around 350-700 with most around 400-500. You don't need to pay for the ad to be visible, but I had a client who told me he found me and chose me after seeing me on the first page of Vancouver area listings on Tryst (at the 100TLC tier).
My massage ads do well on leolist. My escort ad doesn’t do as well even though I have half hour rates. But I’ll get somebody great off a week old bump. I don’t worry about staying on first page because I absolutely refuse to give into leolists greed lol.
The other day I bumped my ad and I got 50 texts and calls in an hour and not one booking lol. I’d be mad if that happened every day hahaha. Im quite picky but not picky at all. I’ll see anybody nice. If they text “I’m thinking of cumming over if the price is right”, I’d rather eat cat food and they'll get an immediate we’re not compatible reply
I just bump every few days and don’t worry about it.

Someone should invent a free weekly newspaper, with pickup boxes all over the city, where SPs could place ads for a reasonable fee.
Customers would pick up a copy of the paper, peruse the ads, circle the ones they like with a pen, and then call the SP's number to book an appointment.

Just one pooner here. I look at LL for possibilities and Perb for intel and legitimacy. Good reviews or presence on Perb is massively good for risk reduction imho. Maybe that’s why LL is now more about massage and infested by scams and WOT’s.
Tried Tryst and OF. No real value for me and too hard to search / fact-check without PERb. I ❤ PERB. An indy website helps a lot too, filtering out the scams and flakes.

So you too long for the good old days of Buy & Sell Personals, Georgia Straight, etc. Even Craig’s had its time in the spotlight. We were better off 10-20 years ago.
There was a time when the most expensive ad was in the Georgia straight lol. Online was cheap.
The Georgia straight has been trying to make a comeback, they’ve got the old school escort ads in the print and online version! You’ll even see some articles written by the lovely Lexci Lust!
I tried an ad in the Georgia straight years ago. It was $150 weekly for a print ad with a picture and barely any info. I got a few dates but not enough to make $600 a month worth it. Most guys from Georgia were bargain hunters or elderly. Didn’t know how to use the internet elderly lol.
At the time Eros was $50 a month. Perb was I don’t remember $50 I think and Canada escorts was $50 a month. Craigslist was free but I never put an ad there. Then back page took over Craigslist and now leolist. Back page for the longest time was $1 a bump until they got into legal trouble. They went all the way up to $10 a bump before they closed and the owners went to jail. I never put ads on Craigslist but I did use back page 😭.
I miss the Georgia straight for knowing what’s going on tho. I miss so many concerts because people don’t have a Georgia straight just laying around anymore.
That Paper still Exists 
? I remember that paper was available on every street corner in those Metal components with a pull out door. Where do get a hold of The Strait nowadays? That was once my go-to paper for local entertainment news etc etc. I Loved that paper!!

Providers on Tryst seem to be very expensive, and more "professional" which is a plus for some but a put off for me. The girls also seem to travel more so not as consistent to see as someone who is a dedicated local and Tryst girls want more effort for deposits and screenings which I don't care for. If it's expensive and feels like work it takes away from the experience of wanting a stress free escape but that's what Tryst is like for me anyways.
That being said, I don't like LL and wish we had more alternatives.
