It'll cost you a bit more than that if you think about hotel, eating out, price of a girl for the week, etc. But yeah, it can be a good deal. Especially if you have another reason to travel to the country.
Thailand is probably the sex tour capital of the world as far as value is concerned. A lot of pooners are going there and taking advantage of other services as well, like cheap medical or dental services, etc.
I'm personally planning one of those trips now. I need some dental work that will cost me about $12,000 out of pocket here. All expenses to Thailand, including airfare, hotel for 3 weeks, and a girl every day, including the dental work is around $6,500!
Just don't ever, EVER, EVER, do anything bareback in those places!!!

I am looking at heading to a country in Central America this coming winter and spending a few weeks there and do some pooning, or as they call it there, mongering.

Never really heard about Dominica until just now. Never realized that there was such a country. I thought you were talking about the Dominican Republic. There are many guys that have traveled to the DR and various Central American countries where you can stay for a few days or a few weeks and live well. The food and lodging is pretty cheap when compared to the US and Canada.Did anyone try this? I get the impression, many tourists who knowing have HIV, travel to those countries and try to get unprotected sex...thinking...who gives a shit, I am going to die soon anyways.
At least, I think that kind of mentality was running wild in the 90s, when HIV was out of control in Thailand.
