Does it make you wonder in these modern days of very good cameras even in moderately priced cell phones, that girls are still posting pics that look like they were made with cell phones from the previous century?

Whenever I see an ad with pics of very poor quality, the first thing I think is: "What is this girl trying to hide?". It is definitely not "I bet that if this picture was actually in focus she would look like Taylor Swift or Shailene Woodley." LOL

Do these ladies that post these out of focus pics and very poor lighting pics think they are fooling us? What do you guys think?

Unfortunately they fool some. There's good bad bad cases. Tia Lux is a great case, she has awful indistinguishable pictures but upon meeting her you know it's her.

I saw more than one wonderful girl with low-quality pictures. Perhaps they chose those pictures because they are insecure about their body (some extra pounds), not because they try to fool somebody.
They hardly get any commercial gain. It's not like much extra demand comes from it, they lose many potential customers who could be perfectly fine with that type of body. I wouldn't see those girls myself if not all-positive reviews. It's not a coincidence their rates were noticeably lower than what I felt they deserved.

Also some people are just bad with technology. A girl can honestly don't know how to get a better picture. Or how to make a portion of picture blurry instead of the whole picture.

That the picture is a "selfie". Most of them seem to be "mirror selfies" taken in the bathroom. :) At least you know the picture is of her and it's easy to check - just go in the bathroom and see if that whatever is on the counter.

The blurred, pixelated pictures are because she's tried to increase the size and she had autofocus on when she took the picture. Simply not enough pixels to increase the size.

The ladies should do what Lavina does. Wearing a mask means she doesn't have to attempt to edit portions of the face away.

Glad you like the mask. Most of my pics show my full face unedited. I just thought the mask looked sexy. But much better to wear a mask than to do a crappy blurring job and ruin an otherwise good picture. Sometimes you have a good body shot but the face isn't at a great angle or whatever, So having a mask on in that instance would be a good thing.

The mask is VERY sexy, and I think it accents your features beautifully!

There's a great selection of masks at Scarlet (& a wonderful selection of terrific lingerie too...)

taking selfies are so hard!!! and it especially sucks when your phone isn't a shiny new iphone and the front face camera is like 0 negative something megapixels

don't hate

oh and some people aren't photogenic, trust me its a very real thing...its even mentioned in reviews that the SP has terrible photos and looks way better in person...when you take a bunch of pics that turn out looking not like you, then come back here and let us know how you feel! (not saying this so anyone can hide with crappy photos, just saying a photo can become really shit even with an iphone or tablet cam with shitty lighting and shaky hands + the zoom function) in reality the best way to get nice quality photos is to use an actual digital camera with decent lighting.

And if the photo looks so good like those IG models...then it will be accused of being fake

some people look worse or the mask makes them look totally freaky and different from what their face looks like ! it could cause confusion

edit...but I have to add that you look gorgeous with a mask ;)

The other thing about the mask is we can be sure that the picture is of you. Not some picture grabbed off of the Internet.

Probably crazy glasses would work just as well. And you could answer the door wearing them. :)

The REAL problem as I see it is the low/no budget photo shoot,I wish they would take the time and make the effort to have a pro shoot them instead of standing in a messy bathroom taking selfies in the mirror.

I think that the woman's desire for a little discretion also enters into it. If she doesn't want "talkative" people saying "hey did you know that Bunny is a whore?" to everyone she knows, she may not have anyone that she can trust to take pictures of her. Hence, mirror selfies.

Also, some women enter the trade sort of part time or just to meet immediate economic needs. Other women make it a business and use a professional photographer. I think Lady Via has professional photographs and I know that Holly Taylor had professional photographs.

The cost can be prohibitive...but there are ways around that. My newest photoshoot was a barter arrangement with a client who has a passion and an eye for pinup photography! In November, I am looking forward to meeting Lady Via's photographer for my first REAL pro photoshoot!

The first thing I notice about the crappy selfies is they haven't bothered to use a Q tip to clean out the pocket lint on their phone lens. Usually these Samsungs and iPhones have decent enough cameras built in for taking selfies. Hate to say it but investing $50 on a longer selfie stick would help a lot too.

Or have a good trusting relationship with a client. I've taken pics for a number of SP's published here and on their ads elsewhere. I buy a new SD card usually 4 GB and leave it with the SP afterwards. I've never charged a cent nor asked or given any free service in lieu of helping them with their portfolio. Now that I think about it they still owe me $ for the SD cards :pound:

We take a few pics, have some fun, take a few shots while having fun and they get the card at the end. It makes for a more fun session most times ;)
