Crossing the border can be fun!!!!
I understand and empathise with the problems of crossing the border. Having traveled around the world extensively, the only country that I have ever been denied entry is the US of A. I had ALL the documentation in the world that said what, where, why, for how long, Car and hotel reservations in place and still I was told that I was denied entry into the US of A permanently.
As all problems eventually do, this revolved around money! I talked to an Immigration Lawyer and found out that yes, I could appeal it, yup I could travel tomorrow, and the lawyer took care of everything. I cost $15000,00 to the lawyer and $10000.00 to Customs to have an emergency panel discuss my case at 6:00AM the next day for my 9:00AM flight.
I handed in the paperwork from the lawyer to US customs and then I spent another hour sitting in the lounge at the airport until I was called over to the counter. I was never asked a question, never asked what I did for a living, just handed me back my passport with a certified flier card attached , good for six years( the guy couldn’t add 2003 + 5=2008) and I have been hassle free ever since.
So Sandy, there is an appeal, yes it will cost you money, (less than mine because you have the time) and don’t advertise with anything (luggage, contents, location and even who paid for your ticket/Hotel) about what you do with your life.
Good luck and have fun.
