Jeez, that guy has some serious issues. I wish *I* could find a gf that would cook me turkey dinner, let alone for her to be very attractive.... let alone doing it naked or almost naked!

yes a lesson we should all learn......and the guy always worries that all the gal wants is your money......never works, dated ex sp for 2 years never trusted each other and when we split, she took it upon herself to re design my wardrobe with a pair of scissors.....good luck to all. :)
Aside from creating stereotypes from individual experience which isn't the issue in this thread, the fact remains that this guy tossed a 10 LB (?) hot turkey at Tiffany's head. Fowl mood or not it's a physical ' assault ' which is unacceptable in any circumstance.

It's sad to see a relationship end up in shambles, but in your case Tiff, I'm really glad that it has come to this. Chilli is right. The red flags were waving in front of your face from the start. I know how difficult it can be to break off with someone that you care about, no matter how much of a jerkface he happens to be.
Though I am sure he's generally a nice guy, the way he "catagorized" you from the start showed that he couldn't accept you for who you are and what you do. Though overgeneralized, most men cannot accept it, so I don't blame him for feeling the way he feels.
Though I do blame him for dealing with it by physically abusing you. That's just wrong, no matter how you look at it.
I'm very glad that you've decided to end the relationship with him, and wish you the best.
YOU GO, GIRL!

You're better off without him!

My ex once threw the Christmas turkey at her sister, so you aren't the first, but that doesn't mean you deserve it either! The guy definitely appears abusive and would likely be walking all over anybody else he could get under his thumb. He threw the turkey at you AND broke your laptop? He might have looked down on you but I bet he didn't mind when you brought home lots of money, did he?
Don't get caught on the rebound!
Go get him bigsonny!

So true......

Warning ladies.....

If you meet a guy who insists on you cooking naked, locks your dogs in the bathroom all day, won't kiss during sex and throws organic poultry at your head......run. Run the other way!!!!!

Me? I'm off to a hotel. I went for a great tan...went to the gym and have brushed off those crazy mashed potatos (eww!)

If you gentlemen want to drop by and see me, I have posted an ad in the advertiser section but the best way to get ahold of me is through my phone as my lap top is smashed.....(meanie!)

Let me just say I am overwhelmed with how great everyone has been to me through this incident. You guys are awesome.

Can't wait to see you tonight! Oh and tomorrow:)

Love and kisses

Time to quit dating assholes and start going with nicer guys.
Unfortunately abusive SOs seem to be commonplace with SPs.

Anecdotal, or do you have evidence for that? ^

I want to point out that spousal abuse is widespread among Canadian women in general. Unfortunately, 25% of Canadian women report being abused by a boyfriend or husband:

"One in four women (25%) have been assaulted by a current or previous intimate partner. Three-quarters of these women had also been emotionally abused."

Stats are from a government website

http://www.justice.gov.yk.ca/prog/cor/vs/abusestats.html

It's very sad and I'm glad to see how angry this incident with Tiffany has made everyone. I'm glad to see that people know it's not ok. This stuff happens to so many women all the time, and it's got to stop.

There's just one word for a man who feels the need to abuse a woman: fucking pathetic! OK, I know that's 2 words, but still. Tiffany, I don't know you, but I'm glad you're no longer with this loser because, even though we've never met, I know you deserve better than somebody who throws things at your head. Everybody deserves better than that!

.....I have always been impressed by your intelligence.....and insights....so I cannot beleieve that you were really surprised that this guy turned out the way he did....I suspect that right from the get-go you sensed that there was something not right about him but for whatever reason your central processing ability got switched off.....remember next time to trust your instincts...spideysense....or whatever else you go going for you that provides an early-warning against creeps, preditors, abusers and the like...remember sometimes fear is the most valuable gift you have been provided.....

Be safe.....

I've had issues logging onto PERB the past few days. Anyways, Tiffers you know where I stand on this matter and that is right beside you. Now that this fucktard is out of the picture you know what you can concentrate on now?

tag team duo action with "The Stephanie". Yes, that's right! The best way to get over someone is to get under Stephanie and a lucky stud.:D

Folks stay tuned for details.

CLM..you consistently come up with the most creative usage of the English language
Sonny, CLM may well be creative in her use of English, but "fucktard" has appeared in 15 threads on PERB. According to the search I did, "fucktard" first appeared in a post by wolverine on January 27, 2003. :)

The guy is an A-hole. But don't forget that most women are more attracted to the bad boy type of guy. Nice guys do finish last.

Yes this guy is an A-hole. No doubt.

But this saying about Nice guys finish last is soooo tired. A nice guy can be confident, flirtatious, loyal, kind and considerate, charming, exciting, courageous, and sexy. I'm sure Tiffany was initially attracted to this guy because he exhibited some of these qualities, but obviously not all of them.

Perhaps the guys that ' finish last ' with women are the ones that are safe, predictable ( in other words --boring ), & lacking confidence ( especially sexually ).

I'm sure the guy in question is reading this thread but he is too big of a pussy to post his side to this story or respond in any way. Gotta hate a coward. Come on man up and show yourself.

Here is a bit of a warning to the girls AND the guys out there. Don't date people you meet in this buisness.
Nice broad over-generalization... This warning is "completely self-serving" and "completely ignores" the very significant number of relationships of this nature that work, but are seldom, if at all mentioned on Perb. Trying to shout "Fire" in a crowded theatre doesn't deny the fact that all relationships succeed or fail with an equal dose of particicipation or lack thereof on the part of both parties.
