You see, the answer has a long and tumultuous history.. it all started with MARS - Maverick's Appearance Rating System. From there, I just decided to start all my threads with some sort of acronym.
At first, I tried to make them all 4 letters and "pronouncable" such as MOFO (Maverick's Official Formula One thread) and MOBB (Maverick's Official Big Brother 6 thread) but after a while, it became very difficult to find suitable tittles for threads without sounding corny and redundant.
At that point, I expanded my rules to allow 5 or 6 letters, and often just got rid of the "Maverick" at the start of the title... but still included it in the capitalized abbreviation to distinguish my threads and make them easily searchable.
I often start threads that get added to on a weekly basis (eg. MBACH) and searching for "MBACH" instantly brings it up on top of the list... my threads are often the ONLY threads that come up when searched for using their acronyms.
Lately, I've been more lax with my rules... I just go with the flow of the moment and see what it brings.
