A question for all the Pooners with an SO.

We pooners all have our reasons for enjoying this hobby. Many of us have SO's. In most cases we are all decent guys who love our wives but we just are not getting what we want/need at home. Lets say that the shoe was on the other foot and our wives were the ones paying handsome, young, virile men for companionship. To say, getting elsewhere what we were failing to provide at home. What would you think of the hobby then? Let's be real honest since this board provides a certain measure of anonimity.

Funny, I was having this conversation with a friend the other day. I am "happily married", but I also have a mistress on the side. The relationship qualities of my wife are great, but the sex is bad. It's the opposite with my mistress. Great sex, but the relationship qualities are lacking (no real emotional connection).

Now, if I found my wife "cheating" on me, I think I'd be upset (selfish bastard that I am), but I think there would not be much I could honestly say. As long as she was having fun and being safe, then I wouldn't necessarily seek a break up right away. Then again, I am pretty logical easy going individual and I rarely feel jealous thoughts.

SO and an Extra Pooning

I would like to say I would be okay with it. If I was not in this hobby I am sure it would be a whole different feeling. Being a typical male, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" seems like a logical situation, but it is always an "if you don't know, it doesn't matter". When you find out its a whole lot different.

One thing that becomes very obvious when you have a committed SO is that you lose totally control of your sex life. Have you put it in that perspective? Before a commitment, there is that excitement, exploration, infatuation, etc, that create the need to commit. Afterwards, you become controlled by the other person's quirks, whims, stress, and so forth. It is just not the same thing. Never get married or commit to get sex, that is the least likely way to get it.

I lost control of it for about a year. Then I thoroughly explained my displeasure and threatened her with leaving permanently. After that, the sex was back up to my pleasure and her's too. Women simply don't understand that during a commitment, when the sex is completely controlled by them (or blackmail is utilized), it becomes unpleasurable for both.

Ever see an SP for an extended period, like five years or so. You will find exactly the same result. They find out what it takes to get you satisified, the minimum that usually is, and that is just what you get.

This has not been my experience with long term SPs and GFs. I had a GF for almost 8 years and the sex was still unbelievable right to the bitter end. When a woman decides she is going to do the minimal to get me satisfaction, I am usually don't stick around very long. Threats of leaving either work very well, or the relationship ends.... and I don't mind at all ending because I don't bluff.

I've gone to SPs when the sex with my GF/SO has come down below my expectations, or when I anticipate the relationship going to break down. Currently I have little use for SPs since everything is going quite well for the most part.

I'd like to think I'd be okay with it as long as there was no decrease in sex at home. As it stands now it isn't enough so her finding some on the side would bother me. I hate the fact that she is the only one to ever say no. I'm always up for the occasion.
