LG: at the risk of stating the obvious, if things can't be the same anymore then they've got to be different. One of the mantras where I work is "A failure to plan is like planning to fail". Kind of hokey, but it's worth keeping in mind. If you're going to leap into a new life, take a look first. Best of luck to you.

thanks moz, and that's the basis of this post: what to plan next? i have always followed the same paths and am interested in new ones ... so i'm asking people who have had paths divergent from mine, what they did and enjoyed and then i could plan to follow some of them instead of my own.
