Do some more research and you'll probably find out why. One reason might be the fact that this
drug has serious side effects and is to much for people who are suffering so badly from Covid.
What ever you do don't get your advice from Rush
limbaugh, he told the world back in February on one of his live radio broadcasts that the Covid
virus is JUST A COLD!!!! :der::der::puke::twitch:

Medal of freedom winner given to him by you know who. What a fucking joke.

Ok, but make sure you don’t have a memory of convenience to make your point. Look at some of the statements that were made by certain groups and people back in mid/late February. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of National Institute of Diseases on February 17th stated...”The risk of the Coronavirus in the U.S. is minimal.” Around the same time the World Health Organization was saying that this was a mild case and for people to not be alarmed. There is also a video of Nancy Pelosi telling all her constituents to all come out to the Chinese New Year parade in her Congressional District in late February. Now she is saying that Trump isn’t doing enough?

There are many doctors in the U.S.that are saying that treating people with Hydroxychloroquine has almost a 100% success rate. The problem is that they don’t have enough of it.

I get that the media doesn’t want to give Trump any credit. But he has stopped mass immigration and the flights coming in from China that has possibly saved thousands of lives.

Once an 100% accurate quick (<1min) test is developed, outgoing passengers/crew would be required to be tested before they can even board airplanes. We could see entire sections of airports set aside for testing. Alternatively, they could set up mile long testing checkpoints for all vehicles approaching the airport. Incoming visitors would not be allowed into the country unless they were tested at the airport of origin. Even after they arrive, we might decide to test them again. In that case, they'd all need to be isolated in their own negative pressure cubicle, pending results of the test.

Each A320 carries about 220 passengers so assuming we get 4 planes an hour, we'd need room for 880-1200 testing cubicles and associated staff/testing machines.

They'd also probably require it for land entry too. I guess land crossings are easier since if they test positive then they get turned around.

I also realized - if an incoming passenger tests positive, then there's the even bigger headache of isolating and treating them (since we can't repatriate them on a normal flight). The whole flight of 220 passengers has to be isolated, quarantined for 2 weeks and tested daily. We can't even let 1 carrier loose. We could repatriate the whole flight, which would be a bit cruel since the positive can now infect all of the other negatives.

And that's just 1 flight. What if we find 5 other positives on the same day? We'd need room to isolate and quarantine 1,100 arrivals (!).

COVID19 is going to savage tourism dependent economies. Nobody is going to travel if they know they might get quarantined for 2 weeks, just because someone on their flight got tested positive.

My memory of convenience as you put it is not for me to pick and choose with. It is there for anyone to see.
Why would that be considered, convenience?
Btw, those chinese flights that you say trump stopped coming in from China?
All bullshit, he forgot to tell you that all the citizens of the USA who have family here or there, including people
with Permanent residence status are free to go back and forth as they see fit.
How's that for closing off China from coming here?

And that is not a memory of convenience, but I do invite you to find me some quotes about doctors who have
proven success with hydroxychloroquine. Trump said today we're not sure how successful it is but go ahead and try
it. Why not he said, What have you got to loose.

And yes there were many idiots talking through their ass back in February, like Pelosi asking people to come out
to a Chinese new year parade. There are still many people talking through their ass to this very day in USA
about this covid problem.

DJT only imposed the restrictions after 3 major airlines suspended flights:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/trav...elta-cuts-all-flights-white-house/4620989002/

Also, the ban was hardly comprehensive

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/covid-19-travelled-from-china-to-us-coronavirus-12610920

Thousands of US citizens dying every day and I've yet to see DJT express sorrow or display any remorse. He's actually crowing about being #1 on Facebook. Seriously WTF.
Sorry mate, but you're basically saying "if I can't see it, it doesn't exist or never happened." I really don't know when (quite frankly any person) has sorrow, as that is something someone feels. And quite frankly, not everyone outwardly expresses what they feel. Someone who doesn't cry at their mother's funeral does not mean said someone is lacking in sorrow - I'm pretty sure most people can understand that. And this might come as a shock to you, but generally speaking politicians (of any stripe) do not express remorse. Remorse is expressing regret for a wrong-doing. Whether Trump did or didn't do something wrong is of course debatable - but politicians almost never admit to doing wrong, it's just an occupational hazard so to speak.

I actually wish I knew someone who had it.
I would go buy some groceries, gas up my pickup, grab my girlfriend and dog, load up my snowmobiles, then grab the sick person and kiss them right on the lips. Head back to my pickup and kiss my girlfriend. Drive to the spot where I park my pickup truck out on a forestry road, load up the sleds and ride up to my mountain cabin. Hang out there a while in the mountains until we feel better again, and head back home.
Now that it had passed, I would be good to go. Neither of us is 90 or in bad shape, so being a little bit sick for a few days is no biggie.
