A Message for SP's

Just a short note to all the sp's out there.
I noticed that some of you have kind of priced yourself out of the market.
I will not say who or by how much.
IMHO some of you are charging a lot for 1 hour of pleasure.
This only limits the number of guys who will look in your direction.
Taking money out of your pocket. Which you could have had otherwise.
I know that charging that much does let you screen out the rift raft,but it also makes a guy wonder about want he gets for an hour. If you have a stated rate on a web site, or on perb, stick with it, don't charge different rates for different guys. I have seen different for new clients as opposed to reg. clients. That will get around on here very fast.
Money is not usually a problem for me,personally, I will just save it if I have to wait a little while longer to see that girl. You also have to understand the nature of the business you are in and the growing number of girls in it.
I also realize that it is a short term thing. Make as much as you can, as fast as you can. I am sure we have been over this before in here at somepoint

Also communication is very important. If your voice mail is full we cannot leave messages. If your perb message box is full empty it. I like to let a girl know a few days ahead that I would like to see her. I often don't get a reply for a few days, which can be a little annoying. I have plans to make as well, things to do, errands to do. You know what I mean.

Lately things have been really good. I have heard of guys having difficulty getting a hold of some girls.

I just want to make all the great girls out there aware of this stuff. You all have my support,but just be aware please.

Ironhead, this issue of price has been raised frequently on this board and the general consenus is always the same: SPs are business people and they can charge whatever the market will bear. If an SP charges $500 an hour and you don't want to pay that then don't. Chances are someone else will.

It's no different with vehicles. A Mercedes and Lexus are much more expensive than a Pontiac or Chevy Impala. Some people buy the Lexus while others buy the Pontiac. Prices for SPs are no different. Some are high-class hookers while others are street walkers. There are other makes and models in between.

I tend to shy away from the cheap SP's 'cause I know all you cheap horny perverts have all had your way with them. The more expensive ones tend to have a little more dignity.

There is obviously a market for $20 crack hoes and there is also a market for $500 an hour hoes and everything in between. Don't be telling them what to charge, there are plenty of hoes at all prices to keep everyone happy.

I agree with Julia

As one of the ladies who is considered 'out of the Perb market' I will point out that it wasn't done in an attempt to make more money. It was done to reduce clientele to a mangeable and enjoyable level.

I know some of the ladies in the $200 range see six and more gentlemen in a day. More power to them. They are busy, and the gents are happy that about getting what they want at an 'affordable' price. It's a win/win for those involved. I can't and don't want to deal with that right now.

Of course I would make a lot more money if I were to lower my rate - based on sheer volume alone. However, that isn't something I choose to do anymore. I have many other things going on in my life which now take priority, and when I do see gentlemen now, I am much more refreshed, relaxed and capable of providing a much better service than I was when my donations were much lower and I had to contend with a phone ringing off the hook.

I'm certain that many of the lower priced ladies who are very busy ARE capable of providing outstanding service through and through - and are very happy with how things are working. That is why they are priced as they are.

For those of us 'priced out of the market', we too are happy with how things are, otherwise we would chage back. We may see in a week or perhaps a month what some other ladies see in a day. It works for us. And there is a market for it. Albeit a much smaller market - which is exactly how we like it.

There is somebody for everyone - and lovely ladies in each price range. We all choose to do what is best for us, just as the gentlemen select the lady most suited to his desires and finacial abilities.

Unfortunately, as long as guys continue to think with their dicks and are too lazy to snoop around for better deals ... the price will continue to increase without bounds for certain well-reviewed ladies. Ironically, it is precisely because we think with our dicks that we seek this particular service in the first place.
Why ladies increase their prices when they look the same and offer the same services? The simplest reason is because they can. Why sell something at a lower price and higher volume if one can sell the exact same thing at a higher price and lower volume. Less work for the exact same profit.
Anyways, the prices are set not for the clients' affordibility ... it is set to maximize the sp's revenue for as little effort as possible. As long as there are people willing to pay the X amount set by the sp, there is no reason for them to lower their prices.
That's tough shit for some of us less wealthy individuals but there is little we can do about it. Suck it up or spend a little time doing some research for more affordable sp's. Whining to the sp's is just gonna make you look like a cheapass.

I know what Sexxxylady and Lady Companion are saying. When I have bills to pay I will spend most of my time and money with someone who charges less money, but may not give you a total experience. I guess I feel like I'm forgotten when I leave a girl who has a lineup at her door (figuratively speaking). But when my funds are a little more plentiful, I like to spend some time with someone who may even remember my name for a number of days or weeks.

It's more of a bonus to me if they remember my name at any price level because I understand in the end, this is a business transaction in which a certain block of time has been purchased by me. Once that block of time has passed, the sp owes me absolutely nothing and I expect nothing.
Anything little nice things that happen outside that block of time (like remembering me later) is an added bonus which would figure into my selection for my next purchase.

Sorry, that was my bad. It wasn't too clear exactly what you meant before.
Those are certainly valid points to be considered but there does come a point when the price paid is overshadowed for these "extras" which is not guaranteed in any way, shape or form.

This is SO old. Many of us don't WANT to see 5 or more clients a day. Some of us aren't able to work every day because of school, other job, or family commitments.

The girls that charge 200 or less obviously want lots of work and are willing to spend many hours working. The girls who charge 300 and up want to work less and see a different kind of customer.

There are plenty of pretty girls who do this at lower rates and provide comparable service to the pricier girls. The reviews here are evidence of that. So just stick to what's in your price range and let this be.

Wow, what a topic. Who wouldn't work less for the same or more money?It's kind of a dumb question. I have a business and get all kinds of nuts who figure they can play "let's make a deal" everytime they come in - I tell em' Tijuana is a 3 day drive and I don't even look Mexican.

When you go to the grocery store, do you tell the manager that his steak prices are too high and he should bring them more in line with the hamburger prices? Not. You eat hamburger (or even Kraft Dinner) and once in a while you treat yourself to a nice steak - it somehow tastes better when you have to save for it too. Those that can afford steak all the time are just lucky bastards and there are some out there who'll do/say anything to try and level the playing field, including trying to goad or shame a business into feeling like they're overcharging. I say keep shopping.

You work hard for your money and you should spend it wherever you feel you're getting the best value, but don't expect everyone else to suffer because your tastes outweigh your finances - that's called charity and you won't find it here I'm sure.

Having said all that, does anyone know where there's a good deal on steak??

Actually, there's $150 difference. Seriously, (?) it's becuase you're not looking at it from a guys perspective and until you do, you'll never get it. We're not looking for some piece of art to hang on the wall. It's about performance too. When you drive by the car lot, do you ever wonder why all the cars look the same, but are all different prices? Perhaps you could ask the salesman and get back to us on your findings? Also, maybe you could find out why Suncor shares are worth more now than they were 2 years ago. After all, they're still the same old share they were before - or could it be that the market sees more value in them and is willing to pay more today? (you did say you played the stock market didn't you?)

Paid sex has never been cheaper, and the price continues on a downward trend due to the influx of people in the Lower Mainland. It used to be (10 years ago) that the <b>going price</b> for FS at an MP or from an indep was <b>$300</b>.

Again, regardless of what the market will bear, etc., I think we at least need to consider why it is that prices in Vancouver are as high as they are. Except for the fact that a certain market already exists, and that people are [apparently] willing to pay what is considered to be an an 'acceptable' rate - there is no inherent need for rates to be as high as they are. We are led to believe that a rate is acceptable and/or normal only because enough people are allegedly willing to pay that rate.

This sounds like common sense, of course, but consider at least why the rates in other, larger, Canadian cities are considerably less on-average: prices are based on expectations; in Vancouver, unfortunately, rates have become too high - largely because there is an expectation that a healthy market exists to support that rate.

I disagree. I break it down as $100 and under, $150-$200... $250-$300... $350-$400... and then past $400 you don't really get better looking girls... just girls that want to work less. There is a definite difference between $250 and $400 girls.

The girls in the $350-$400 range are definitely on AVERAGE a cut above the $250-$300 girls... whether it be by youthful appearance, maintenance (nails, hair, attire, etc.), slenderness, etc. ... of course, there are exceptions, but that is why I said ON AVERAGE. I would say give or take $50, there generally isn't much difference... but if there's a $100 difference and it's over a prolonged period (the girl has been consistently getting her full rate over time), there is a reason for it.

Now, keep in mind this is just for looks like you mentioned... I agree with Hatrick that the service does not necessarily increase with price... in fact, like he said, some of the best service can come from the cheaper girls.

I do agree with Maverick re: different price ranges. My response was directed at Massagelady who seems to feel that the look of a $400 girl should be more that the look of a $250 girl, which isn't necessarily right. As has been said before, a $400 girl may just not want/need to work any more than she is, whereas the $250 girl may just have a little nympho in her and if she's gonna fuck her brains out six times a day, she might as well make a ton of money at it.

I started out here thinking that a $400 girl could charge that much because she had perhaps developed a reputation that warranted it. An old saying came to mind "you can rip anybody off once" and I first thought this might apply here; that the SP wouldn't last long at $400 if she was providing a shitty service/product. However, upon second thought it occurred to me that normal business rules don't apply here because other than this board, I don't know of anywhere else where an SP can get a bad review that may change a guy's mind about going to see her. What's a guy gonna do? Report her to the BBB? We're all suckers for a pretty face and a sexy smile and there's no shortage of guys with $400 and a hard dick around.

I for one am a bargain hunter because I live in a small town where you can't even hide a case of bad gas. I don't get to "Poon" very often and want to make sure I get the best value for my $$$.
