I found a terrific thread on TERB that has been really interesting and I'd like to get the same one going here.

This is the place to ask those questions you've always wanted to ask your friendly hooker but never got the balls to ask. Be polite and respectful, and you may get an honest answer, free of charges. Be an ass, and you may get sarcasm or be ignored.

Of course, all hookers on board are welcome to contribute their personal take on the questions asked.

Leave your question at the beep.

I'm sure that Bigfred did not wish to limit the questioning only to hookers (A term thought by me to refer primarily to street workers). Shall we open the thread to all SPs; the escorts, the courtisans, the massage parlour attendants, etc.?

Bigfred,

A note for the future: Just use the general, neutral term SP (service provider) & you are less likely to offend. :) Unless, of course, you wish to address a specific subgroup of SPs.

Honestly - that didn't offend me as much as this did -

Thanks bigfred ,

... but to answer the question... when I saw the Erotic Services section of CL... I was flabbergasted. :D

Last year on Halloween I was downtown at a club and had decided to leave my friends. I was walking down Seymour and was at a stop light crossing the street and I had a guy ask me if I was working, I honestly didnt know what he meant at this time nor did I know that there were SP's on Seymour. He offered me $1000 to have his way. I politely declined. The entire way home it had me thinking, and well here we are 7 months later.

I don't mind the term hooker. There are a lot worse terms than that. Hooker can have all kinds of meanings. I'm going to hook you in with my advertising, then I am a hooker, :D.

He is trying to start a fun thread. Lets not assume that every term is meant to offend. That is more disappointing than anything. :(

I first realised I had a gold mine in my pants, when I was a teenager, and my best friend told me, I was so pretty, I should be a hooker, cause I'd make so much money. (her actual words) I was like 'you're stupid" hahahaha, well she was right, but I didn't actually do anything like that for a few years. We weren't even friends anymore by the time I actually became a "hooker".:p

On TERB, this has gone on for something like 55 pages-lets get this going!

I have one that I want to ask.

Have you ever had an appt with someone from your past who didn't recognize you?

A note for the future: Get the stick out of your ass! They're hookers and we're Johns! If that bothers you take up cycling for a hobby! Whether the girl is on a street corner or in a $2000/mo condo she's a hooker just like we're Johns/tricks whether we're picking them up from East Hastings or ordering in to our luxury penthouse
