Georgia Straight page 106 has a new ad for "521 Spa" at 521 West Georgia. Both caucasian and asian girls.

First we have Spa 540, now 521 Spa. Must be under same ownership.

It used to be (or still is) Casa de la Raffinage. It was a legit spa but based on their ad in the erotic massage section I would say ownership has changed.

Anyone who works downtown would have to be pretty brazen to go for an R&T there. One can easily imagine walking out of the place and encountering a co-worker or business associate on the sidewalk.

Is this place in an office tower or is the door right off the street?

Their ad says they're open till 3 a.m. which violates the bylaw saying closure by midnight.

Why would they only open at 8 p.m.?

Their ad on CL alludes to the fact that they're open only for the Olympics so it looks like the owner is hanging around till the Olympics for a quick buck.

I could see a few MPs closing after the Olympics. They're just hanging around...

I think their entrance is not on the street it is in a older office building.

Funny place. During the day, it's La Raffinage a legitimate Day spa. After 8 pm then what?

They have an ad in the Province as 521 Spa that tells everyone to go to 521 West Georgia at which point they see it's still La Raffinage Day Spa.

The Day Spa has one number and 521 Spa has another number yet it's the same premises.
