36 yr old Accountant Backup Goalie stops the Jets

Jets fans on this board probably already know this story. Scott Foster a 36 yr old goalie from a Chicago suburb beer league ended up finishing the 3rd period vs the Jets. And in the end, his save percentage was 1000. Both Crawford and Forsberg were out with injuries as the Hawks beat the Jets 6-2.

I thought it was great, but lets not forget the important part. Chicago won a game!!! They've had a rough go this season. Crawford out since beginning of Dec., Forsberg is ok but certainly not a starter. The current backup couldn't stop a pig in a bowling alley.

Awesome!! A number crunching accountant that's actually a jock at heart. Good for him... He was the #1 star, I thought that was more of a sentimental gift, but its the humanity of those naming him, as it was his first game and the other team didn't score on him and he is 35. Still a memory making accomplishment for him and he deserves it.
