The Empress steam engine is leaving north bend at 1515 hours this friday
and will arrive at the Coquitlam yard at approximately 1930 hours that
evening.

So if there are any steam train fans out there here's your chance to see
a bit of history.
It will leave Coquitlam yard heading back east 0930 hours the following
Monday morning the 16th.

Enjoy this while you can folks it's not every day you get to see a bit
of history.

Just as an update the train will arrive in Vancouver at 1830 PM today.
Not Coquitlam yard.

A transfer crew will pull the train back to Coquitlam yard, arrival at 2030
hours (8:30) PM

Oh, and by the way, Standard time invented by Sir Stanford Fleming, a Canadian, to deal with scheduling trains at a time when every town in the world had its own time zone.
