It's their investment in their future. Nobody helped pay for my investment in my future.

More from the Liberal nanny state that wants to be in every aspect of our lives.Feds urging Canadians to use VPNs while introducing Bill C-22 which makes VPNs functionally illegal
Bill C-22, the Lawful Access Act introduced in March, would compel electronic service providers to build surveillance capabilities into their systems and retain user metadata for up to a year.
Would grant the public safety minister the power to issue secret orders requiring specific providers to develop technical capabilities for law enforcement and would prohibit those providers from even disclosing that the order exists.

Every program employs a "back door" somewhere for the creator of the program to code the program. Bill C-22 wants to hang a welcome sign on the door available for law enforcement and any nefarious actor.
OK so after watching the Manitoba premier fact check the Alberta Premier I am getting it that this is very much alt right wing BS.Any Albertans on here care to add their 2bits about just WTF is going on re separation?
And as a side bar, as an ex Albertan, I was a card carrying member of the Free the West thing in the 80's when Trudeau Sr tried to fuck Alberta out of its resources. After I had moved to Vancouver too, that anger lingered. So I get part of the issue but there has to be more than just alt right BS.
Make the law where if it involves downloading or up loading of copyright material, the VPN does not have to provide evidence. Everything else is fair game to catch criminals and terrorists. I believe that most of the disagreement with the bill is the fact that ordinary people would be caught up in downloading/uploading copyright material. Or Am I missing something there.More from the Liberal nanny state that wants to be in every aspect of our lives.
As I pass that truck by doing 40 over the speed limit....VICTORIA — A private-members bill to mandate dash cameras on all commercial vehicles travelling B.C. highways has passed unanimously through the B.C. legislature.
Makes sure that when a crash happens the evidence isn't lost, disputed or "buried in a yearlong investigation."
The bill will come into force six months after receiving royal assent.

Building and securing interprovincial trade.
Sorry not Sorry... these are the facts. Only in the last 5 years has military spending gone over 25 billion a year, mostly due to Carney. I still not a fan of Carney due to ties to Brookfield and his stupid policy on CO2 emmissions which holds back alot of investment in Canada and in the Canadian Economy.Data from the 2024/25 fiscal year shows 59 per cent of First Nations in Canada are not meeting the requirements of the First Nations Financial Transparency Act, and non-compliance has increased substantially from almost zero (near complete compliance) in 2014/15, when Ottawa stopped enforcing violations.
The absence of enforcement of the act means there are virtually no financial consequences if leaders within First Nations governments do not complete the required financial audits.
Crucially, the amount of monies provided to First Nations by Ottawa is not insubstantial. In 2024/25, for instance, Ottawa spent over $32 billion for Indigenous groups across the country.

Annual planned spending for Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is $24.09 billion for the 2026–27 fiscal year. When combined with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC), annual federal spending on Indigenous priorities has reached roughly $63 billion.
Sixty-three billion Canadians dollars every year. Coincidentally, National defence spending in Canada also valued at $63 billion in '25/'26 budget.
Clearly no clue whatsoever on the cost/logistics/implementation of massive pie-in-the-sky, daydream prjects.(snip)
On the prairies a canal system from Alberta to Churchill in Manitoba needs to be looked at.
Also a tunnel through the rockies for heavy trains/transport trailers.
Due to climate change the prairies need to look at their water supply. A water pipeline from the Pacific (using Reverse Osmosis) to the interior of Alberta could make up water shortages that could happen in the future. (Look at the Colorado River Valley system and how dry its become).

In the 1950 the St Lawrence Seaway project was made to help the economy of Ontario and Quebec. Why shouldn't the Federal government help to build the economy in AB, Sask and MB?Clearly no clue whatsoever on the cost/logistics/implementation of massive pie-in-the-sky, daydream prjects.
Try suggesting something that can actually be done.
