Still 2024 but why not kick this one off.
Teed up Landman, Billy Bob, one of Taylor Sheridan's series, should be good.
Have been told to watch Say Nothing, being of Irish descent and after living in Belfast for awhile in the 90's, this is a must for me.
The Substance, Demi Moore as an aging starlet using a 'substance' to maintain her looks. Those who have seen it have said its freaky, and funny.
S2 of Bad Sisters coming up, S1 was a riot so this has to be good.
The various Yellowstone sequels. Might as well, already invested in many of them.
And Severance. I am on E4 of S1 and oooo eeee is this amazing or what. I understand S2 is coming in Feb/Mar. No idea Ben Stiller had this kind of thing in him.

Sad to hear that the Outer Range will not be going forward. The fuckers left us hanging ... Amazon claims too expensive to produce ... or maybe Josh Brolin's salary is too high. Too bad.

Happy New Year all your pooners and poonettes!!

A bit off topic. Too all the techies here. What do you use to stream? I'm thinking about buying an Android TV box for streaming but I have no clue how to proceed especially given the various different price points. Someone suggested an Amazon FireTV USB dongle but apparently you can't connect a USB drive to it and watch the movies you may have accumulated over the years from your home computer.

Just a note on Amazon devices, they use a subset of Android so if you want a full Android experience, they may not give you what you want. Android boxes I am sure have improved the past few years, my foray into them stopped about 4 years ago as they just did not have the performance I wanted. My Sony tv has Google TV built in, which I really don't use but for all intents in purposes it looks like it would cover my needs.
I have been using Roku since the goat trail days of streaming. Solid, high performance, easy to use menuing etc. My main media system has their Ultra on ethernet, (all my media devices are on ethernet vs Wifi) does not stutter and delivers 4K performance without a hiccup.
For my IPTV my guy whom I met through another guy, set me up with an Informir Mag322 which is adequate, provides 4K when the stream supports it but since its IPTV it can be extremely annoying with its potential for stuttering and losing continuity. I am looking into a new box as yet undefined as the MAG32X series is about 8 years old now.
If your intent is to watch PVR'd movies, mp4's etc most modern TV's support USB and many media receivers the same.
LOTS of options out there ... have fun shopping.

For streaming. You can order this from the google canada store, but hurry because the new model is $90 more expensive. Better than the fire TV dongle.

Just plug it in, sign into a google account, and add the streaming apps you want from the google play store. Some are free like tubi, pluto, cbc gem, ctv, global. Others like netflix, appleTV + are subsciption.

You can't plug a usb drive into this to play your accumulated movies, but if your computer has am hdmi output, you can plug your computer into your tv and play them that way.

I just installed Stremio. They have shows from all streaming platforms. its pretty good for movies and series. Ive only used it a handful of times. Looks pretty good so far. Also they dont have adds... Or maybe i blocked them.. Lol
Go look it up on reddit. They Have step by step instructions and reviews. Step were very easy to follow and I set it up on my desktop and firestick.

Hoping a next Bosch Legacy won't be too long. Ditto Lincoln Lawyer and Only Murders in the Building
Finished Landman, Billy Bob is outstanding. Why he did not want the Globe for best actor is just more hollywood horse shit. Bring on Landman 2.
Waiting for Severance 2 to get onto my IPTV ...
Finished The Count of Monte Cristo, watched it with one of my FWB's, maybe I liked it more as there was a good blowjob for me during most episodes but I thought it really was good.
Bailed on Bad Sisters 2 ... too bad the first series was a hoot.
Waffling on Tulsa King 2. Just seems to have lost whatever made it a hit in S1.
Kinda stalled on Say Nothing. Its too dreary and who needs any more dreary with all the shit going on.
Into Night Agent 2. S1 wasn't just another CIA/FBI show and I am hoping S2 moving forward brings back what S1 had.
Need to find the time for The Substance and also waiting for Paradise.

Currently watching:
On Call (I am on the fence about whether I like it or not)
Shogun (trying to catch up after missing its first run)

Soon will be watching:
SAS Rouge Heroes S2
Reacher S3
Yellowjackets S3
White Lotus S3

Near future:
The Last Of Us S2
House Of the Dragon S3 (whenever that arrives)
A Knight Of the Seven Kingdoms
Fallout S2 (whenever that arrives)
Euphoria S3 (whenever that arrives)
Peacemaker S2 (whenever that returns)
P-Valley S3 (whenever that returns)

Throwback / Need-To-Go-Back & Finish-Watching:
Warrior
Gomorrah
Peaky Blinders
The Expanse
Yellowstone
(and I need to somehow un-fuck the order I watched CB Strike and start at the actual beginning.)

Hoping a next Bosch Legacy won't be too long.

Same ! I hope it is not the final season; heard that it was, someplace.

The CB Strike series are really great and the gal that plays Robin, holy moly!
A new book is about to come out, so I now have 2-1/2 books to stay in the know.
Bosch is the last season ... too bad, terrific character builds and as a cop show, a winner.
Working through Night Agent 2 - liking it.
And got roped into watching Why Women Kill with one of my FWB's, half way through S2. Great set and costume design and just a good light hearted series. Glad I'm watching it.
Did give up on Tulsa King 2 - its as bad as S1 was good.
Lots happening, nice to have no real shortage of stuff to watch.

the substance was ok, Demi moore looks pretty good for her age.

been watching "Sarah Conner chronicles", lots of action and a repetive storyline.

also watching some Tom hanks films; "mr. Otto" is pretty good, as is "finch", both worth a viewing

SAS was awesome.
Shogun was very well done.
Looking forward to:
Reacher S3
Wheel of time S3
Currently watch FBI files
NCIS Origin

So maybe studios are now making more than just 10 episodes a year.
