A young medial student in a bus out of Stockholm, Sweden in 2014 didn't convince me about how migrants, men women & children camped under a downtown Stockholm overpass would contribute to any economy. And press releases about debasement of beautiful residential Swedish villages.
No-go zones in suburban Paris where government services, neither police, fire nor ambulance tread. Political spectrum Left to Right really ought to be thought of as a continuous circle. In the extreme, the Left and Right resemble each other. Government owned businesses populated by party hacks versus government regulation by party hacks. Liberals in the centre move in cycles left to right and back that appeals to many. Variety in politics becomes as desirable as a varied diet. Exploited extremely well by liberal governments everywhere to stay in power.
So, I guess what happened, folks after years in the beautiful residential Swedish villages simply were ripe for change and took on unvetted hoards. Easy enough I suppose for humanitarian reason and drought in Syria. But no-go zones in France preceeded the Syrian drought. France held a colony in Algeria with an open border policy. Many vetted Algerians trusted to live alone with Sharia Law in French municipalities often react violently toward French government authorities and told to stay out. The "use it or lose it" philosophy of non-Western culture exploited by Non-Governmental Organisations. The Swedes enjoying beautiful residential neighbourhoods simply didn't seem to be using the space. From there it's nubile young women, the environment and squaters in your home if you go away on vacation too long.
Neither the far-right AfD in Germany and far-right National Rally in France look even close to consorting with big business either through ownership or regulation that you'd expect from fascist and communist governance. I'd guess the German AfD and French NR both liberal parties in extreme mode to fight a threat and would move nearer the centre of political spectrum after mitigating the threat that's basically lack of respect for privacy. Not shared by crowd plagued nations. Aided and abetted by billionare revenge and indifference for being told what to do with their money.

Well Israel operates on a eye for eye system. But it more than that, they were surrounded by countries that wanted to see them dead. Its evolved to you kill one Israel, Israel will kill 3 of yours....
The problem here is that most Canadians and Americans sit at their nicely protected homes, unafraid of getting a rocket in their living rooms. Most Isreali homes today are being sold with safe rooms (blast rooms). Crime is not that rapid in Israel, but rockets are.
In the 1990 gulf war, Iraq's plan was to shoot missiles into Israel, to provoke Israel into attacking Iraq, thus involving all other Muslim nation in the middle east.
Today it is Iran that supports terrorist organizations in Gaza (HAMAS), Houthis (Yemen), Hezbollah (Lebanon/Syria). They came up with the iron dome to protect Israel from the hundreds/thousands of rockets that have been launched at Israel over the years. Terror weapons on civilian population.
