In 2025, it was the threat of American president Trump, that the liberals won a minority. The conservative went on an economic package saying we cannot afford the liberal economy and spending spree.

The problem is Canada has suffered economic problems while trying to reduce emissions. Too much red tape and regulations put in place by the Liberals. Any thing doing with Co2 is ignored. This has made our economy shrink, when it could expand.
This thing of net zero emissions by 2050 is a fallacy put on by idiots who drive gas cars.
In 2008 China and Japan and South Korea were building ice-breakers. Why? They don't have ice on their shorelines. The answer is the North-West Passage thru Canadian Waters. Canada won't even build ice-breakers for itself. Always put on hold or delayed, but spending on social programs get a A-Ok go ahead because it is in line with Liberal policy.
During Covid the ultimate winner was the banks. Why? The government gave money so people could pay their rent/mortgage. So only the people having houses to rent and the banks came off better. Taxpayers paying for the rich and banks to get richer is one way to look at it.
Carney's plan is to take away intra-provincial trade barriers (its ads are creeping up everywhere). His other plan is to spend 130 billion on house construction.
So you pay contractor to build houses. Contractors sell houses for 260 billion (Contractors make 130 billion). That 260 billion is taken out as mortgages by people buying homes and the banks make 260 billion or more in interest, while the people pay off their mortgages over 30-40 years.
PEOPLE ARE CAUGHT IN THE SAME OLD CYCLE!!!!
I highly doubt the Liberals will buy new equipment for the armed forces. They will of course cancel any military contracts with the US companies, causing taxpayers to pay for default on the contracts (like that EH101 deal). So no new planes, or tanks or badly needed equipment will be years down the road.
To grow the economy, Carney will have to increase Canadian emissions of CO2, which he will not do, because he is a Liberal fucken nazi global climate control hater..... While China produces 10 X our rate. China will put icebreakers into the Arctic, drill there for oil, because the liberals won't drill oil there. Same for the Queen Charlotte islands. Have to wonder why we as Canadians are not allowed to drill for oil in these areas. And Canadian won't be able to do anything because the ships (CPF and arctic Patrol Vessels) don't have enough weapons to hurt a grizzly bear in the north.

So if Siberia is China's Northern Resource AREA; Canada is the US Northern Resource AREA.... That oil is being reserved by US influence through Canadian banks and politicians.

Energy will be nuclear. Either Thorium or Uranium. Still there should be investment in solar and wind. At 40% wind and 60% solar. Why? Because rumbling in Alaska tell of a volcano that could erupt. So if some volcano in the northern hemisphere puts lots of dust in the air (making solar ineffective), the wind turbines will still be there to produce electricity. Along with the nuclear power plants.
