Sorry to be such a heartbreaker, Hank. At least I like the Oilers more than the Flames or Leafs.
Pens blue line is hurting without Letang and with Daley playing like crap, I wouldn't put money on them stopping Nashville.
I'm staying pretty confident in my Nashville prediction, they're a machine with all gears firing right now.
It's True, your Preds are performing like a well oiled Machine, in their Play-Off run !

As You may been caught up, in the excitement, of your Preds squeaking one past the Ducks?

In true Randy Carlyle fashion the ducks got out shot almost 2:1. If you don't have the puck, you can't score. The Preds didn't squeak anything past Gibson, if anything the Ducks frantically were treading water based on two mostly luck based bounces.
The Ducks played dump and chase the whole night. The Preds played skilled hockey with big time possession difference.
Corey Perry what happened to this guy. Unless he gets a perfect pass from Getlazf he is invisible out there. Way too slow now for only 31 yo.

May i suggest if you are ever doing that again, stay out of this thread till you've seen the game or know what happened?
For my part i'll not do that again, but someone else might make a comment before or after the game ends & before you've seen it on tape.
I typically DVR the games and watch them later at night- while also surfing the web and this board.
For that reason I steer clear of sports threads until the next day or until I know the game's outcome.
The real time scoring updates are not that uncommon.

What did he expect Kesler would be- a bystander? If anything he is more of a dick with Anaheim than he ever was with the 'Nucks.
Rinne showed he's not perfect, and without his to-date almost nightly stellar play this Preds team is not going to get past the Ducks- even with their potent defense. Anaheim can win without Gibson at his best- I don't think Nashville can do the same.
But I expect Pekka will bounce back solidly.

I'm hoping a team with ex-Canucks wins the Stanley Cup. I know Anaheim & Ottawa have former Vancouver players.
Also backing the last remaining Canadian team, who i've heard were predicted to be the first of 5 to be eliminated.

Its SO painful to be a Ducks fan. Win 5 straight Pac Divisions and get no cup to show for it.
Feel like throwing up, this team is often the most entertaining NHL to watch. All the stars align for a SC trophy. And they cough up the worse back up goalie ( now we know) in the playoffs. Even I could have played better in net. When do the excuses stop and the owners go for it, one of the twins is done and the other has 2 prime years left. I actually DVRed the game and just watched the whole thing on fast foward cause I knew this team did not have it. Its like the missing link everywhere with these guys. They break your heart every year.
