Please god no. I don't want the internet to burn down.Laffs win coup in 7 vs Flameouts. Book it, Danno.
This is a pretty good analysis. One caveat though. The reason I have Nashville going so far is because Rinne has been on fire since March (around a .933 save percentage). So, while he was pretty meh this year, which has a lot to do with PK going down, for a lengthy part of the season, he has caught fire at the right time.I'm not going to predict rounds because frankly divisional finals bore me but I'm predicting Nashville - Pittsburgh final with Nashville in 6.
They're heating up at the right time and given that Chicago has been horrible, they'll face either Minnesota (not good) or the Blues (hahah Jake Allen) in the second round they have the potential to go far. Great forward depth and excellent defense. Rinne is meh but he doesn't have to be anything other than average.
Where is Stils playing these days?ROFL.
Catherine James is a remarkable woman but she's probably the last person I'd depend on for hockey picks!
If I started to talk about Ducks, Penguins and Sharks she'd probably ask which zoo I'm planning to visit.
(True story, which CJ has permitted me to share, is that Peyton and I were debating Sidney Crosby over dinner last week and Catherine joined the conversation midway. "Who are we taking about ?" asked CJ. "Sidney Crosby" said Peyton and we both saw her shake her head and move on to the adjoining conversation. At few moments later, Catherine leaned over to me an whispered "as in Sidney Crosby, Stiils and Nash?" Yup. That really happened. So, I'd trust her with almost anything but hockey picks isn't one of them).
Sorry to complicate your thread and, if anyone is going down for those picks , the shame is all mine.
Perfect wording : stills in the garden.Have you seen the Canucks forechecking ? They all qualify as "Stills".
Too bad the Rangers ended up with Nash though.
Too bad hockey clairvoyance isn't a marketable skillImpressive first round Peyton!
7 out of 8 and you only missed the # of games by 4 in total.
Pretty lady knows her stuff. All hail the Queen.
Canadian teams were up a combined 4-0 this round. All of a sudden it's 4-all & momentum has swung the other way.I think the Oilers are the team to beat in the whole league, Size and that speed. The kid McDavid is like a jet out there, seems to be able to do things just as fast as Bure and of course can pass a lot better.
