Far from lame. That was a great game and the USA deserved the win. USA out played them the last 3 games they played and deserved the Championship. Canada played their hearts out and have nothing to be ashamed of........what a game!

It was a great game, but the U.S. deserved to win. Canada was bound to have one go against them...how many times can you pull a rabbitt out of your hat in the last minutes, or like last year in the final seconds? It was bound to go the other at some point.

also Nazem Kadri's throat slit gesture to the Swiss bench was an odious, boorish and disgusting display of sportmanship...

Me neither!

But I do have the utmost respect, admiration and pride for those young men. The games were exciting and entertaining, I always enjoy watching the tournament. The gold medal game could have gone either way, it was so good I wasn't even disappointed the USA won, they deserved it just as much. It was great how Eberle came up so big in a clutch situation, makes me very glad he is to be an Oiler.
