Actually, I didn't buy a card. I just made the buys through the Home Outfitters wedding registry and then texted the groom to tell his wife the items can be picked up anytime from the store.Well at least you aren't planning to openly present a pleasingly wrapped empty box with a blank card firmly attached upon arrival & surreptitiously dropping your signed card loose on the gift table to lead the happy couple to think it fell off (or was removed by some other unscrupulous guest) from your actual gift. But if you were going to do that, at least make yours a premium card.![]()
Lol, you cheap asshole.I usually give a card with a torn piece of wrapping paper attached. That way in all the post wedding chaos the couple assumes that they somehow lost the gift, but still feel the need to send a thank you.
I'm bringing a date, so I figure the $200 will cover off the dinner and entertainment for both of us.
I agree with that sentiment......I have it beat though...at MY wedding my now ex wife's aunt/uncle re-gifted us a clock that came with a magazine subscription.....that was the most cheap ass gesture I have ever seen in my life....what really makes it nasty is the fact that the uncle retired with a golden pension from a gravy train federal govenment career.......nothing worse than cheap ass inlaws who have it good.Lol, you cheap asshole.
