Gents, Ladies,

I'm planning a road trip to BC for the sole purpose of visiting some local ladies.

The ladies I plan to see will be either in Nanaimo or Coquitlam.

As far as local amenities goes, where is the best area to stay ? I prefer to be central between both so that I can drive to either location with ease.

So I'm assuming staying in Vancouver I guess is the way to go ? Sorry, never been to BC, this is my first time.

I assume that you are aware that between Coquitlam and Nanaimo, you have a ferry crossing to deal with? Takes an hour and a half on the water, plus waits at the terminals and possible random delays. It's not just a matter of driving.

I would plan for a stay in the Vancouver area and/or a stay in Nanaimo, to avoid multiple ferry crossings.

Well, if you're close to highway one you can jump on it and take it west to Horseshoe Bay when you catch the ferry to Nanaimo, or east to Coquitlam. So to be close to the highway I would recommend something in North Vancouver or maybe the Delta in Burnaby at the Willingdon exit. I only lived in Vancouver for a few years but that is what I would recommend. Good luck!

edit: If you stay in downtown Vancouver you add a bridge to across and on a bad day that could take some extra time. There are several hotels close to the Lions gate Bridge in N Van and they are close to local amenities, highway one and downtown.

If it were me I would avoid Nanaimo altogether and just stick around the Vancouver area. Much more options and the other amenities such as hotels and restaurants are far more diverse as well. If you were planning on going to Vancouver Island Victoria is a much nicer city to visit... sorry Nanaimo but that's the truth. It's also the better city to play in. Lots of nice ladies in Victoria.

Executive Inn on North Road in Coquitlam - large enough main entrance where front desk doesn't see everyone who walks in and prices are decent.

Delta in Burnaby right off Willingdon and Hwy 1. No one will notice people in and out there. Has casino in the same building along with a great Chinese seafood restaurant.

Hilton Metrotown. Takes 10 mins to drive to Hwy 1 and another 10-20 mins drive to Coquitlam depending where in Coquitlam. Connected to Chinese mall so lots of cheap good food court food.

Best Western Coquitlam. There are about 3 of them all close by each other. Very low traffic and front desk sees and knows everyone walking in and out the doors. Not discrete at all.

Don't discount Nanaimo altogether...it's a growing city as Vancouver becomes unaffordable. The Coast Bastion Inn offers some beautiful harbour view rooms on the upper floors, there's also a beautiful view from Lady Vanessa's in call, where you can also find Pretty Priya & some fine touring ladies as well. I think we're going to have a beautiful fall!

No, definitely not decent. Maybe if you're lucky you get a decent Halloween / late October - chilly maybe but not so rainy. November is pretty much the worst. Normal weather is rain, rain, and more rain.

However, that's usual for Metro Vancouver. I don't know Victoria's weather by comparison, other than it being maybe sunnier and probably windier.
