rubintugger you have no reason to question a member even if it is a newbie, it is obvious that I am not a newbie, we are all here to contribute what we can to keep our hobby safe for all, it is tiring that long term members bully new members and old alike due to their favorite sps being a topic.

Bully? Really. I have as much right to question a posting as anyone else. Keeping the hobby safe for pooners and SPs alike is what we do here, and if someone posts a questionable remark, it is our duty to qiestion it. If it is true, the poster will gain credibility and reputation for future posts, giving all of us a yardstick to measure his/her contributions. If the post cannot stand up to scrutiny, then our job has been done as participants in this forum.
Its not rocket science, really. Post truths based on experience, and you will be welcomed. Post fictitious speculation, and you will be "bullied".
This board has a way of policing itself. Become a valued, longtime user that is not scared to keep the same handle, and you will get the respect you deserve. If you are "not a newbie" but have an account started the month, well. Enough said.

It's the same on every board on every subject. I am on a motorcycle board, you don't go there and start giving out mechanical advice. There are guys who have demonstrated knowledge and experience. If a newb with no posts tells me what torque to put on my head bolts I will obviously double check with a more experienced poster.
In a martial art, you see new dojang members who want to become black belts within a few years. It is the impatience of youth. They confuse knowledge with wisdom. A senior black belt has knowledge that cannot be learned except through experience. A third Dan is not just about doung a pattern or a certain kick.
Nobody is being bullied, just be patient and listen. Members have to get to know each other before they can get accepted into the group, just like real life.

You have 15 posts and half of them are bitching about the old guard. Crawl back to where you came from.
Perhaps I should preface this by saying I'm fairly new to the board.
You are doing yourself no favours as your credibility sinks deeper and deeper every time you respond to these postings, most of which are polite and patient, with these repetitive inanities. Keep this up and soon people will question or ignore pretty much everything you say in the future or, if the mod decides you are being rude, we may never hear from this name again. It's up to you how you want to play here: with others, or with yourself.
