I am pretty sure you’ve came across an ad that said “available now” and thought hey! This is my chance!

It’s confusing isn’t it? You might have messaged someone and gotten a “I’m not available” answer.

Some advertising platforms give you the possibility to temporarily be “available” but many use it as a way to bump their ad to the first page to increase visibility and thus chances of being contacted by clients.

All that to say, don’t wait for her ad to say that she’s “available now” to contact her because she might not even be working at that specific time.

This is does not apply to agencies as they have a whole different system and the “available now” mention is usually very accurate.

Yeah. It's more like "available to book... For another day". I honestly don't think many independents are actually available day of, which is frustrating/disappointing when the hormones are raging. It's one of the advantages agencies have. When they're on, you know they're taking calls for the day, just a question if she has time for you.

On Leolist, I only bump my ads when I can be available with 40 minutes notice. On Tryst, because about 50% of the clients are looking for in the future, ie traveling up here from out of town, I bump my ads even when I'm not available right now. However, aside from my dog maybe needing to pee, I can sometimes be available in 40 minutes. I do have lots of regulars, friends, and hobbies tho, so I am often busy lol.

Yes, I do the same with Tryst sometimes, although I try to bump when I am 'open to working sometime in the next few hours'.

Even if I am free that day, I might get involved in another task and need an hour or so before I can head over to my incall and meet a gentleman. Takes a little time to get everything ready and make sure I'm at my very best :)

It is always a nice feeling when someone has a limited window of availability and I do happen to be chillin at my incall and ready for them to show up anytime, but I can't always promise that 💕

Isn't most everything associated with the phrase "available now" already laced with the unwritten: " ...pending the chance that somebody else got (my/her) attention first..."

If somebody were selling an old piece of furniture on Craigslist, isn't it assumed by all that the piece of furniture is "available now" (unless somebody else got to it first) .

The phrase "available now" is not misused in this arena to a point where mentioning it helps at all.

The economy changed last 50 years. Store fronts today leave "open" signs up after hours. Meaning their fortunate enough to still be in business.
