I agree the transportation goes from a 1950 taxi that can break down... horse buggy , cattle trucks, heck one time I was traveling 3 hours to Havana and at a check stop found out we were on a stolen wawa .... nobody believed me because stuff like that does not happen my girlfriend had to verify...

I usually just spend the days in Havana nothing like 1950 transportation and travelling old school for a couple hours... You are right politics and drugs are two things a Cuban will not freely discuss, Foreigners are what keep Cuba running and their laws are something else ... you hit a bull...

Yes Victoria puts together good gatherings and fund raisers sometimes 40 plus people would show up great man/woman ratio ... So far the best meet and greet I have been to was in Ottawa :)
