I think you've nailed it, and I agree. But saying that also exposes a couple of problems: I don't believe all companions are necessarily as "professional" as they should be. (I don't think all clients are, either, for that matter.) I think this "industry" is somewhat unique. For many of us...

Reprehensible behavior. I hope there are ways of dealing with that kind of nonsense that don't negatively impact a provider's reputation. Of course spreading lies can happen in both directions, I guess, but I find the very thought deplorable.

Crazy thing is that I ask every time, and never get much for answers. They often say "just keep doing what you're doing", and I take that and pretend I'm doing well, but my guess is that it's just because I'm beyond hope. :)

Exactly! Agreed. I completely understand the desire/need to do so, but I also agree that it detracts from the experience. Seeing the face of a lady who's enjoying herself adds so much. But... at the end of the day it's different strokes for different folks. The ladies hiding their faces...

And if more people simply did this, cancel culture likely wouldn't be a problem. This is the right response! :)
