Okay, gentlemen, it’s time for a little role reversal—and possibly a gentle audit of your gentlemanly credentials.
You get to review your experiences, but imagine for a moment that the ladies had their own review section.
What would yours say?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Excellent communication, arrived freshly showered, followed directions, and didn’t ask 47 questions that were already answered in the ad. Would happily see again—and may even recommend to a friend.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Pleasant gentleman, good conversation, excellent manners. Lost one star for saying, ‘I’m just around the corner,’ while apparently being in another time zone.”
⭐⭐⭐ “Nice gentleman, slightly confused by Google Maps. Spent 15 minutes looking for a building that was directly in front of him. We both learned something.”
⭐⭐ “Very charming, but treated the appointment like an escape room. Could not locate the entrance, the parking, or the concept of punctuality.”
⭐ “Asked if I was real, then proceeded to behave like a fictional character.”
And then there’s the rare, mysterious six-star gentleman:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Communicated clearly, respected boundaries, brought excellent energy, and somehow managed to leave without asking, ‘So… what do you do when you’re not doing this?’”
All jokes aside, I’m curious…
Gentlemen: What do you think makes you a genuinely great client?
Ladies: What little things make a gentleman stand out for all the right reasons?
Is it thoughtful communication? Good manners? Being on time? Smelling fantastic? Knowing how to have a conversation without turning it into a job interview?
Keep it lighthearted—no naming, shaming, or airing anyone’s dirty laundry. Unless it’s a funny story and the laundry is metaphorical.
Bonus points for creativity, self-awareness, and reviews that would make your mother proud.
