When I first started going to bath houses I preferred the quieter times. I found it less intimidating. I don’t get to go too often because I’m on the island now, but when I do go I think I still prefer when it’s a little less busy. Obviously there needs to be a bit of a crowd though.

For steam it will normally be a small group of men 10 or so. Older 50+ . The few times i went in the morning (closer to noon) . I played in the public rooms in 2 - 3 and 4 groups of eager men.
