Just how in the world did Arnold Schwarzeneggar get to carry the Olympic Torch for one and secondly how did he get to carry it on the last day of the relay leading up to the stadium??? I understand that the terminator and his wife are involved with the special olympics but honestly having of all people the Kindergarten Cop carry the torch reallly dummies down these Olympics...Vanco makes it look like we are desparate for a name....there are hundreds if not thousands of Canadians some just ordinary people who would be a much better ambassador than Conan the barbarian...they really dropped the torch on this one...WTF!!!!

I consider him the governor of California now and don't hold Hollywood stereotypes against him. He has done good for Cali and I admire his stance on the planet and the pollution its facing.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear: Why is Arnold Schwarzneneggar carrying the torch when there are lots of unkown "normal" Canadians who could? Would I carry the torch if asked....absolutely am I jealous not jealous just confused over why the him......U know the Terminator.....throwing knife now......stick around? JFA!

If he is a big supporter of the Special Olympics - either financially or through his Office or just the use of his star power to draw attention and funding to the cause or causes of the participants in that event, then there are very good reasons to allow him to carry the torch.
