Frankly, I cannot imagine that anyone could ever describe the venerated Commercial on Whyte as being "sleazy". It is a fine upstanding establishment frequented by some of the best touring jazz/blues bands to wind their way through the western hinterland.

O.k...maybe it's sleazy...but the rooms above it are...well, kinda sleazy. But, hey, it's better than driving home drunk and they are less than $50 a night. Now that's some value.

It really does host some great musicians, and I have to say, the sleazy nature of it was always a bit of it's appeal.

As for the rooms upstairs...EEK! Double EEK! I hope you found a cheap blo/go to cap that evening off, accompanied by copius showering and laundering the next day.
