RIP - The Pauser

If anyone listened to sport talk radio alot there was a guy named "The Pauser" who always called in with various opinions on the Canucks. The always called in Dan Russell's show and team 1040. Just heard he passed away. Didn't always agree with his comments but he was pretty entertaining....

The Pauser? That's the worst superhero name, EVER. What are his super powers? He can pause for longer periods of time than any mere mortal?

What are you talking about? Who said he was a superhero. I just mentioned he was on a talk show a lot for those that listen to sportsradio. He paused a lot on air and somehow he was given that name.

I was suprised to hear this although I must admit I hadnt heard him call in for about 6 months.

The first time I heard him call in was late 80's or so when sportstalk moved to rock 101. He had already spent some time in the penalty box iirc.

who was a regular baseball guy on Dan Russel's show is really sick...he also was very knowledgeable about hockey, as I think he covered a hockey beat years ago

I remember this guy was such a big fan of Ronning and said that he should have been captain and that Linden was way overrated. She was also a big fan of Rob Brown when he played in Pittsburgh and always bashed Pat Quinn. He was pretty entertaining....
