Many if not all of us has had at least something stolen or taken from us. A cellphone, wallet, or maybe your house or car has been broken into. Most often, we feel lost, violated when we have lost it.

But on the other side, how many of us have bought something stolen? Dude down the street offering $50 for the set of speakers, or a hi-def TV for a mere $20? It sounds too good to be a legit deal for sure. Do you buy that item knowing it has been stolen or do you tell him to walk the other way?

Sachi Spa was raided recently and the owners charged with Human Trafficking.

How often do we see reviews of a lady from a spa such as that where the guy likes the fact she speaks no English and even one review where he put her face in a pillow because she was protesting his advances? Unluckily for her she spoke more English than he thought.
Quite often telltale signs of places such as this are dirt-cheap prices and very little knowledge of English, and men still defend themselves by saying they want to do this and were not trafficked.

I never buy stolen goods because I would not like that to happen to me. I'm sure most people would not because of karma, scared of getting caught, or pure morals. Yet men still frequent these spas.

people think they can scam you to no end. 3 different times i've had dudes try and sell me a hi-fi stereo system for nothing...im like no no no...its just hillarious! if i need a hi-fi ill goto future shop
with all these asian "tokyo" style massage studios popping up every other week sadly more of these girls may be trapped- no way will i support these establishments

Even if they were charging 10 dollars for a session. I don't think a guy would go see a gal who was forced into it.

Most guys wouldn't if they knew 100% for sure and were presented with the undeniable truth like a girl screaming "LET ME OUT, I'M HERE AGAINST MY WILL!" when they walk in. But Moi's point is that most people would rather look the other way and ignore all the red flags and hope it isn't that case. Most people would find a way to mentally justify their actions like "the city licensed it, so it's their fault, not mine"

You seem to be suggesting that most of the women at the parlours in E-town can't simply walk out the door get a job at a grocery store and make a living like the majority of women in this city.

I certainly agree that the trafficked women at Sachi Spa had no real options, but I don't think that that is the case with the native Canuck english or french speakers in the business. Any one of them can pick up the phone and dial 911 if they are in trouble. Any one of them can get a job just like anyone else.

I am reasonably sure that any of them are just as free to do what they will (including prostituting themselves) just like anyone else. These are pretty much the only women I'll see.

If seeing them constitutes "sex slavery" or being involved with it, well, the term has no meaning whatsoever and I am being slandered by you.

When I pay $300.00 an hour and she can just walk out the door with the money and call for help, there's no real "trafficking" going on. I may be being taken advantage of (due to my raging hormones), but there's no reasonable way to call that trafficking.

I believe that women (all women) have free will. I believe that they are responsible for themselves and their decisions. I refuse to accept any responsibility for their bad decisions and I will hold them accountable for their decisions and for their own situation. Anything less is to treat them as less than human.

Whether it was licensed or not, it is pretty obvious when you walk in and a girl can barely speak english let alone pass toefl in order to get her residency here.

Fact of the matter is, most of the boys who voice their opinions on this board, or even this thread are the ones that are appalled by frequenting places such as these. Take a look at the review section, especially Vancouver reviews. Many of them are from visiting places such as this.

I applaud Susi's work. I'm not in the business anymore, but like those asians, I could never publicly associate myself with having been in this industry. It would bring shame to my family of which I'm not prepared to deal with. Being raised in a western country with a canadian passport, I am able to make my own choices and leave when I want. Most importantly, I was raised to have a voice. So I can say no when I want, and if I need it.
