Avatar Help?

So my dear technophiles.....

I deleted my avatar and now I can't seem to figure out how to upload it again! Any advice for a technoputz?

This is the image I'd like to use. Or, if you think you can make one for me that works, I'd be very appreciative.

I think you'll find it under User CP, then on the left-hand side is "Edit Avatar".

Most of us don't have access to load an avatar on this site. However, from other sites that I go to that use the same BBS software as this site, the Edit Avatar page might say something like "Current Avatar" and "Custom Avatar". There should be an upload option under Custom Avatar.

Here's a few other options, but I think yours is better:

Alas, everything I've tried is declined with an "Invalid File" message. Most perplexing.

It would appear to be related to the new version of vBulletin - Fred Zed has to figure out the right settings.
